Extremely Disappointed with their Unfair Practices

I booked a free course with Flexible Learning by mistake, realising almost immediately that it wasn’t the right level for me. I contacted them the very next day to cancel — before accessing any materials or participating in anything — only to be told I’d be charged a £125 “admin fee” to cancel. While I understand there was a clause about this fee for non-completion, it’s completely unreasonable to enforce it when the course was clearly booked in error and cancellation was requested promptly. I didn’t benefit from the course in any way, and yet they’re still demanding payment. Worse still, the course was advertised as free, but this cancellation charge wasn’t made clear upfront. It feels misleading and unfair — and their refusal to show any flexibility or understanding shows a complete lack of customer care. I would not recommend Flexible Learning to anyone based on this experience. If you make an honest mistake, don’t expect any compassion — just a bill.

Amazing

My tutor was amazing, patient and knew how to teach! my mental health was not grate when I started but my manager and tutor was amazing and so supportive, I finished level 2 hair dressing and am now onto level 3 and honestly loving it. Definitely recommend! well definitely recommend the camden branch all tutors are amazing kind and patient but in a constructive way. Had the best experience in level 2 hairdressing.

It was easy to purchase online but

It was easy to purchase online, but I am buying for one of my employees and there was no option to allocate the course to someone else, which is a common feature on other sites. I have had to email in to find out how to do this.

If there was a sixth star to choice I would

If there is a sixth star choice I would go for it. I cannot show my gratitude enough for the support from learning curve. I have applied for the level 3 counselling skill after I studied level 2 from the learning curve. I have also recommended to friends who enjoy study. I would like to praise one of the members in Learning Curve,Catherine Whitehead, whom was the lady I had contacted while applying for the study I was guided there the application form nicely. Thank you for the positive and encouraging support.

Rubbish

Rubbish, kicked me off the course the day I had a bad family problem because I was too far away even though I have been on the course for weeks. Worst college ever

Excellent learning experience

I recently completed the 'Level 2 Certificate in Understanding Mental Health First Aid and Mental Health Advocacy in the Workplace'. The course was very interesting and for me, the flexible and self-paced approach to learning really works well for me, especially when working full time. Also appreciate that they are accommodating to people with learning difficulties. I have dyslexia and they were very understanding and gave me an extension on the deadlines which really helped take some of the stress off. My tutor, Sheila Winn was very helpful and gave me some lovely detailed feedback on my answers. Would definitely recommend!

Disappointed for the content and admin

I started the Menopause in the working place course in April 2024. Even though the tutor was great and very patient and clear, the material wasn't updated, It didn't considered the new Standard published last year about menstrual health and menopause and the last lesson was a repetition of the other sessions. Finally, I finished the course on 23rd May and after chasing my certificate for 5 months, just today (29th Nov) I received an email saying "congratulation for finishing the course, you'll receive the certificate in three more months". Very disappointed.

Passed, completed and another string to my bow. Thank you . They were in constant contact and sent…

They were in constant contact and sent me reminders for deadlines which I needed. My tutor was absolutely fantastic and the feedback she gave for my work made me feel brilliant. Even when I had to redo some questions she still pointed out the positives so I didn’t feel as if I had got it wrong. My only disappointment is no funding for another course atm. Maybe in new year but would want to study with LCG again. Thank you. If I could change anything it would be the time out function. If not saved work you lose up to last time saved!! I lost quite a bit of great work this way. My own fault but at the time very annoying!!
