I booked a free course with Flexible Learning by mistake, realising almost immediately that it wasn’t the right level for me. I contacted them the very next day to cancel — before accessing any materials or participating in anything — only to be told I’d be charged a £125 “admin fee” to cancel. While I understand there was a clause about this fee for non-completion, it’s completely unreasonable to enforce it when the course was clearly booked in error and cancellation was requested promptly. I didn’t benefit from the course in any way, and yet they’re still demanding payment. Worse still, the course was advertised as free, but this cancellation charge wasn’t made clear upfront. It feels misleading and unfair — and their refusal to show any flexibility or understanding shows a complete lack of customer care. I would not recommend Flexible Learning to anyone based on this experience. If you make an honest mistake, don’t expect any compassion — just a bill.
My tutor was amazing, patient and knew how to teach! my mental health was not grate when I started but my manager and tutor was amazing and so supportive, I finished level 2 hair dressing and am now onto level 3 and honestly loving it. Definitely recommend! well definitely recommend the camden branch all tutors are amazing kind and patient but in a constructive way. Had the best experience in level 2 hairdressing.

Had an interview with the LCG for a teaching position. Asked to provide a mini-teach with no guidance as to format. Provided lesson to LCG but asked to change format wasting my time. Interview was quite unprofessional. One member of their panel didn't participate in the mini-teach and didn't ask any questions and the feedback they gave was the lesson wasn't engaging enough. Apparently, Purple people ask a lot of questions.See their website for what that means!If he would have participated he would have found it more engaging? Seemed to me like they had already decided on someone else already and were just going through the process.
