The estate agents at keenans were incompetent luddites who slowed down our process of buying a house immensely and almsot caused the entire sale to fall through. They took forever to respond to e-mails (if they ever even did), ignored questions and left out key information, delayed passing time sensitive information from the sellers to us, and overally made the experience a nightmare
There is now a ninth access request so far this year this time for a house inspection. I can't work at my career/ job. Then as i'm tidying up for a house inspection they send me a a rent invoice even though i paid my rent three weeks early. They have toxicated my e mail inbox. And i can't work due to never ending access requests. There e mails to me are horrible.
The viewing team is really good and at the start they make you feel like buying from them is a good idea But once you have the bid accepted it comes a different ball game. Rat like pushy and people who don't work in the local branches take over. I wouldn't deal with them buying or selling When I sold my home they priced it higher than expected but couldn't sell it for months on end. Lowering the price and taking a large cut. They did not keep me up to date with the guy buying it even tho they had contacted to try and let me know about works and negotiations
Keenan’s have been brilliant. Harry, Jack, Sam and all the team have been amazing from day one. Nothing was too much trouble for them, they just get the job done. Thank you all for being so lovely and professional. Caroline Corteen

Totally unprofessional Booked an appointment, had it confirmed (with a reference number). Chased them up to confirm timings, they had lost the appointment ! Totally wasted my morning and ended up in numerous phone calls. Go elsewhere, I would hate to think how they deal with house sales based upon my experience - AVOID THEM.

Absolutely hopeless. I have just tried to engage in a potential purchase through Keenan’s, but they neither answer emails nor phone calls. I got as far as putting in an offer on a property a week ago after chasing them numerous times, but I have literally heard nothing further from them, even after telephoning yet again and leaving a message requesting an update. I am now walking away. There are a number of other agents who are very keen for my business, especially in these difficult economic times, so I will certainly not be wasting any more of my time with Keenan’s.

Very poor customer service, fundamental errors made. Properties not inspected when promised, vital details missed on inspections. Turnover of staff at an alarming rate, no hands off management solutions.

Hi just a warning to people Keenans rawtenstall advertising a property in bacup We fell in love with, had the survey and local searches done at a cost of around £1500 only to find out that what they advertised was totally misleading the property advertised parking for six vehicles which the property does not have.very poor communication from our initial offer so anybody thinking of buying from these please check everything before making an offer we feel so let down, and would never use them again.

I recently used Keenan’s Estate agents in Bury in relation to the sale of my property. I dealt with Melissa throughout. She was extremely professional and took all the stress out of the process. She kept me updated about things on a daily basis and made sure my sale went through without any issues! She is a credit to the company and I wouldn’t hesitate using Keenan’s again if everyone provides service like Melissa does
