The estate agents at keenans were incompetent luddites who slowed down our process of buying a house immensely and almsot caused the entire sale to fall through. They took forever to respond to e-mails (if they ever even did), ignored questions and left out key information, delayed passing time sensitive information from the sellers to us, and overally made the experience a nightmare
There is now a ninth access request so far this year this time for a house inspection. I can't work at my career/ job. Then as i'm tidying up for a house inspection they send me a a rent invoice even though i paid my rent three weeks early. They have toxicated my e mail inbox. And i can't work due to never ending access requests. There e mails to me are horrible.
The viewing team is really good and at the start they make you feel like buying from them is a good idea But once you have the bid accepted it comes a different ball game. Rat like pushy and people who don't work in the local branches take over. I wouldn't deal with them buying or selling When I sold my home they priced it higher than expected but couldn't sell it for months on end. Lowering the price and taking a large cut. They did not keep me up to date with the guy buying it even tho they had contacted to try and let me know about works and negotiations
Keenan’s have been brilliant. Harry, Jack, Sam and all the team have been amazing from day one. Nothing was too much trouble for them, they just get the job done. Thank you all for being so lovely and professional. Caroline Corteen

BEWARE of everything they put in description as although they know it is lies they don't care ! Property took over 4 months to complete with a cash buyer and no chain ! They are also now advertising part of my property for sale with the next door property (owner of mine owned next door property as well ) When I pointed it out to them they said it was up to me to prove I owned it ,they were sooo rude !! They only sold it to me 4 months ago !! They refused to take it off and the owner was told and didn't care but still they continue to advertise it 3 weeks later !! So whoever buys next door won't know till they see the deeds when they are further down the line with the sale ! THIS IS MORALLY WRONG !! Trading standards here I come !!

Right! Where to start? Buying so put in offer but they won't put STC on site or board? The vendor agreed price and then they still showing around! I started mortgage and legal costs incurred and still showing people around and advertising it. Called them up to be told will take off when survey goes to. Did so and gave them details then they say will take off when survey comes back. Came back then wanted to see deposit. Showed them they wanted mortgage offer. Showed them then they wanted actual offer not in principle. This went on for 3 weeks and then told them to shove it up the Niagra. Oh, at one point was told the vendor had someone mess him about so he wanted 10k deposit in his account!!!! Told them illegal and are they nutz. Apologies and then same crap of this and that. Madness.

Already had 2 sales collapse due to the poor communication from Keenan’s in Accrington. Sophie on the sales team has been the only member of staff who communicates well and follows up on her promises! This is the 3rd offer we’ve accepted and again the progressions team have no urgency about them, lie and do not communicate anything to you so I won’t be surprised if this sale falls through too. And we were informed by our solicitor that the sale had fallen through and Keenan’s knew nothing about it and lied! Never use this company they have been shocking from the start and have cost us a lot of money. When I asked to complain they will not give you details of their manager or senior to complain too or tell you how to formally complain.

What a dreadful estate agency! Unfortunately for me the house I bought was being marketed by the Accrington branch so was stuck with them. In the beginning of my purchase was sent a little video from Kieran who told me he was looking after my sale ... and that was the last I heard from him! Emails and texts were ignored by him, and only answered the phone once (but he didn't pass on the information). Got a few letters from them early on but these were a couple of weeks out of date and so were misleading if you took them at face value. Moving on, when the sale dragged in the middle due to solicitors dragging their feet (both sides), so I finally started to hear from them again. Nasty phone calls from rude staff being demanding. There's one nice lady (Kayleigh?) there but that's about it. They also got into a row with my solicitor as they lied to the vendor about me, and said it was because of what the solicitor said (I saw the emails between them, Keenan's make it up as they go along). The vendor lost confidence and put the house back on the market, which they didn't need to do! Fortunately despite Keenan's best efforts I did buy the house. It did take them the best part of two months to take their sign off my property though! So if you want a agency that will turn up to viewings without the keys to get in (true story), will tell you a property is vacant when it isn't (also true story), not send you info on a property (still waiting...) and just plain not turn up for viewings (also true!) - and this is all before you buy with them - then this is the agency for you.

Keenans Estate Agents Burnley I don’t know where to start. Keenans staff in Burnley are very rude and unpleasant. If you are buying a property from them you definitely won’t be getting a good deal instead you will be getting ripped off. I have been observing them for over 5 years now. They will over price the property anywhere between £25-£130 for an average property. Once during a viewing I pointed out to their adviser that they have over priced the property. His reply was “Yeh but we do sell them”. They will lie to you about having higher offers to put you in a position where you may feel that you need to increase your offer. If you back off you will notice that the property will still be on the market 6 months down the line. If they don’t like your offer for a property, they will answer you there and then without consulting it with the owner. They speak to you like you have committed a crime. If you ever have to deal with them you will notice lack of training and customer service skills. They are ignorant and incompetent.

Rude, Pushy and Elitist. I have looked at a few properties in their portfolio and I have found the staff extremely rude and they speak to you like you are something they stepped in when you want a little longer than an hour to decide whether you are going to part with hundreds of thousands of pounds.

I have only amazing things to say about Keenans. I went to sell my house and they were on time for the viewing and honest right the way the whole experience. All the staff provided a fantastic service. When I come to sell my house again I would use Keenans. 5*

Would absolutely never use Keenans ever again. They are an agent on behalf of my landlord who are rude, unhelpful, and expensive with lots of hidden fees. All the staff are incompetant and they have made living in my home a hellish experience.

They are not well organised and fully trained to do that job. I had few viewing of some properties based at Burnley with them . Finally I liked one of them and was going to rent it. I spoke to KEENANS ESTATE AGENT to sort out that , a lady who’s answered me said “ we need to talk to the landlord and will let you know “ . Although that scenario was a bit ridiculous but I accepted. THEN I HAVE NEVER RECEIVED ANY RESPONSE FROM THEM AND WHENEVER TRYING TO CONTACT THEIR NUMBER NO ONE ANSWER. Poor service!! Do not waste your time with them please.
