Use at your own risk. Offered little help in terms of protecting my interests with my property purchase, and never responded to me when questions arose after the completion. I would report them to the law ombudsman if I thought I would get any resolution.

Worst solicitors you can get- AVOID!!! NO REPLIES AND VERY EXPENSIVE!! From the begining JS Law have been awful. I was referred to this company by my broker, little did I know all he wanted was commission. There was no intro call to talk about the property and expectations and throughout the process I have been left in the dark with what is happening. I have to constantly chase emails with them replying after 3 emails. Calls go to voicemail and the team does not pick up either. I’ve had two solicitors on my case as the first left and the second has been a bit better but still does not respond unless I chase 2 or 3 times which is awful. Prices are extremely HIGH and service is terrible. I’m still in the process for buying a flat, 8 months and WAITING!!

Jslaw was recommended to us by the agency with the reasoning that it would be quicker to keep everything under one roof. Couldn’t be more wrong. I have paid more to get it quicker as had other, better solicitors available. I have completed first steps on their website and paid required amount. Since I have paid, I received zero support. No call nor email is being returned to me. Want to call them and leave the message? Not a problem, but no one will ever come back to you on this message. Do you want to escalate? Yeah, you can but on the general line they tell you they cannot give you email address to line manager of your solicitor, so you’re stuck. They cannot transfer you to anyone not from their department, so without number you cannot do anything. Advise on the general line is to contact the team number, but they are also not available. I have sent an email to address of the company as this was also advised by a member of general line. Guess what? No response from there either. My mortgage advisor wanted to connect to get some details - not possible. If I could I would do -5 and not 1, but unfortunately this option isn’t available. For your own good - please avoid this solicitor at all cost.

Was recommended DC LAW by my estate agent, as my seller went with DC Law I was told that I had to go with the sister company JS LAW. Really disappointed with the service I have received. This is my first time buying and selling a property. I’m in a very small chain, 3 people. Me, my buyer and seller no onwards chain from there so I don’t understand what is taking so long. It’s been a month without any update. I don’t get any reply back to my emails, I try calling but it just rings and I cannot get through to anyone. I’ve even asked the estate agents to try and chase for an update but even then don’t get a response. The buyers and sellers solicitors are waiting on a response from JS LAW but are not getting any response either. I’ve asked questions / queries and I haven’t had a response back / have it explained better to me as I don’t understand. I’ve been given false hope of being completed before the Stamp duty changes which I will now need to pay for which is not what I planned for. I feel like I’ve paid a lot of money and not got the service I was expecting. Very stressful and disappointing.

What has honestly felt the longest 5/6 months of waiting we couldn’t have done it without Chloe, keeping us calm and making sure things get done as smoothly as it possibly could go. I have used JS Law a few times now to sell properties for estates of relatives, and every time they have been nothing but amazing, I can not suggest them more. In particular, Chloe Bromley who is a star, her professionalism, knowledge, working and fighting hard for the client, and understanding our situations all while being very considerate of the circumstances. AVOID AT ALL COSTS JSLAW please read your company discreption. I don’t think you are providing any any of these services! No response from my convayancer for over two weeks to my buyers solicitors. All numbers just ring or go to an answer machine. Every email comes back with sorry out of office, no matter who I send it to. Eway has logged us out so no way of contacting either. My buyer is now looking to pull out even though he has no house to sell and we are not buying. Absolutely disgusting that you can’t contact anyone not even a receptionist. I must of called at least 50 times since Thursday along with emails. Get your act together and stop taking money off people when your not giving them a service you say you are
