Use at your own risk. Offered little help in terms of protecting my interests with my property purchase, and never responded to me when questions arose after the completion. I would report them to the law ombudsman if I thought I would get any resolution.

Amy at JS Law did a fantastic job of conveyancing my sale. Quick and efficient, it allowed the buyer to progress the sale so that it went through before the stamp duty cut off reduced, so saving the buyer a significant sum which aided in making the sale.

We were recommended JS Law by our mortgage advisor and Alistair Powell was our conveyancing solicitor. Our buying process was smooth enough because of Alistair. He made sure that all our queries were answered quickly with great patience and professionalism. Even though he was out of the office for a few days, he made sure that we were looked after. I am sorry to read some of the negative reviews on here about JS Law. My experience has been quite different, thanks to a very commendable lady called Zoe McLeavy, who handled both our sale and purchase. Her tenacity and support throughout our process, which took almost a year (due to the slow speed of our new-build), was first-class. Zoe was very communicative, raised queries appropriately and to time as well! She was even sympathetic to our situation when we had to move into a caravan for 5 months due to the build-speed! It was like having a family member at JS Law who checked to ensure you were okay. I cannot recommend or thank Zoe enough for making our completion possible today, 28th March 2025. The whole team was great. Minal was our main case worker and kept everything running smoothly and really efficiently. We had a bit of a deadline (with the increase in stamp duty for first time buyers) and we managed to get everything completed before that, so that was huge! Really professional, easy to reach, transparent and patient. We had a terrible time with the estate agents (an all too common experience from the sounds of it) and this firm really kept them at bay. 5 stars.

Rubbish Jslaw and not responsive and now seems like shes disappeared off the face of the earth. We are now looking at the loss of our sale because thing are moving so slow the buyers are getting frustrated and so are we . If i knew what i know now i wouldnt have gone with JSLAW they are a joke AVOID AVOID !!!

Appalling service from JS Law and my assigned conveyancer. From the start communication has been virtually non-existent. Wholly unprofessional, no attempt to engage or actually communicate. Nothing explained, no advice, nothing informative. I have no idea where I stand. The other party solicitors are also struggling to communicate with JS Law. This case is still ongoing. Writing here as they seem to be very quick to reply on trust pilot to negative reviews but are unable to enter into dialogue with their own client. As other reviewers have said communication is near impossible, and in my experience they have very little (if any) care for their clients. Itβs weird there are so many glowing 5 star reviews. Otherwise, itβs largely only 1 star reviews. Would strongly recommend to avoid!!!! UPDATE - JS Law very promptly replied to this review and then separately asked me to remove the name of my conveyancer, which I have done. JS Law have the time to do this, but are still seemingly unable to actually communicate with their client. Its a very stressful and frustrating experience.
