The agent was very helpful, honest and informative. Unfortunately I was unable to get my problem resolved, through no fault of the agent. I lost wi fi connection whilst trying to resolve why I was not receiving roaming data whilst in Iceland

Major Drop Off Recently

Recently, my partner and I, both with iD have been unable to make or receive either calls or texts. People have tried to contact us and cannot get through. I can't call out. I've contacted customer service and they tell me I'm lying, but other customers are reporting the same issues. There's just no network. I'm paying for the ability to miss important phone calls. I'll be leaving iD as soon as I have time to organise a new contract.

I.D Mobile Upfront Costs

When I first joined I.D Mobile over 8 years ago I found it to be very affordable,but recently it has gone down hill,the signal is terrible, frequent outages the phone I have on contract with them has now developed a pink line down one side of the screen so I tried to get another contract for a new phone and got turned down,I have 5 more months left on my existing contract stuck with a defective phone. Just had so much trouble with this network The upfront costs are now so high I've decided I won't be upgrading and will be changing my network provider... I do not recommend this mobile phone network.

Great deal, TERRIBLE signal.

I got a great deal. Number swap and everything went smoothly. All the data etc that I need, however, I don’t get signal anywhere! I either have one bar, or just no signal at all. Is causing me so many issues, it’s not just at home I just don’t seem to get any signal anywhere. I’m on a 2 year contract so i am really hoping things get better.

awful service throughout.

I transferred from O2 to iD mobile who use the 3 network. i was led to believe that 3 are a very good network. initially it was ok except trying to get account issues sorted out was a nightmare. online chat only. i have only been with iD for about 5 months and the last 3 months have been awful. i live in the CO79** area and the signal and especially DATA have been a mishap to say the least. i complained and was told fault in my area, repair in progress. it was ok for about a week and then started again. i tried to complain again but this time DATA has been so bad i cannot access the internet. no internet-no online chat and no other way of contacting them. A system this bad is not worth having so i have now left ID.

Pay as you go customer

I was a pay as you go customer for some years but decided to leave on the 31st of May this year. I still had £16.15 credit on my account which ID Mobile assured me they would refund. After some weeks I contacted customer service who sent an email on the 23rd of June stating they would sort it out within 2 days. I have just contacted customer service complaints department as I have still not had my refund and they are saying that their accounts department will not refund my money. This is theft as far as I am concerned. So avoid ID Mobile is my advice.

ID mobile wont accept payment information

The app doesn’t work properly, and doesn’t allow you to set-up a direct debit or pay in instalments when your bill is due it just says “something went wrong” every time you try to put in your payment information. Already today I have attempted to make a payment via the app at least 6/7 times. This means your phone service will be cut the day the bill is overdue, despite having made several attempts to actually pay it. When you call the complains line - it conveniently cuts you off. There is no customer service and no backup for when things go wrong. In terms of how the app works, and their phone lines - this is the worst mobile service provider I have ever used and I can’t wait to be out of contract. This is a continuous problem for me, month on month. The app is terrible and it’s the only way to resolve issues. I have also used the web browser and it still does not work.
