My experience was made great by customer service because when I tried two credit cards they were rejected. Rang customer service and gave my order over the phone, no problem. The lady I spoke to was very helpful and polite.
I was delighted to buy a pair of Hotter ‘Flare’ sandals for the first time; they fit well and are much prettier than today’s clumpy styles. However, they have engraved rubber soles, which are dangerous when the wearer makes sudden turns on certain flooring, including carpets. I’ve alarmingly lost my balance twice on my vinyl kitchen floor as the sandals stick on the surface, and they are heavier to wear than other sandals with smooth composite soles. Although they fit well I became uncomfortably aware of my feet when spending the day wearing them recently. This drawback is such a shame as I’d have bought another pair in a different colour, but for me they are a waste of money.
I had a pair of hotter shoes brought as a present. They looked lovely but the first time I wore them the rubber soles fell apart. I emailed hotter and told them what had happened but they were not at all interested and I got palmed off . I have purchased a few pairs of there shoes in the past and been happy with them . I didn't want a refund just the shoes replaced but they would not do that so I won't be buying from them again not good customer service.

Would give them no stars if I could. They keep sending their catalogues out even after I have sent numerous emails asking them to cease. First email was sent in December 2024 and it’s been ongoing ever since, they still arrive in the post despite customer services replying to my emails saying they would stop. I am now reporting them to the relevant authority as I do not want them to keep sending these catalogues.

Horrible customer service! My shoes were supposedly delivered and I never received them. They are supposedly going to investigate, but they won’t even start the investigation for another 5 days! Meanwhile, I don’t have the shoes I paid for, nor a refund.

I telephoned before ordering chase trainers to enquire about sizing. Told they were very generous. I normally wear a wide fit shoe but to be certain ordered wide and extra wide. Both pairs have marks on them red on white trainers in one case. Neither fit unless the insole is removed in the extra wide size, which negates buying a pair of expensive trainers. Compared with my current standard fit trainers they are narrower in the sole. Both pairs are being returned. Why claim they are wide when definately not. I would not expect to have to pay returns for faulty shoes.

Saved up for and ordered a really expensive pair of extra wide trainers. The soles were exactly the same width as some normal-width Hotter shoes that I have and the trainers were tight and not easy to put on. I was so disappointed and it would appear that I have to pay postage in both directions, not good enough Hotter and a huge faff and waste of my time. Its a highly competitive market.

Ordered 3 pairs of shoes and paid postage. Returned them because they did not fit. After 3 weeks no refund so emailed Hotter and they replied by return saying refund being done now. Bad practise that they only refunded after being asked and they then deducted further money for return postage. What a rip off.

Ordered shoes Wednesday. It's now Saturday and they've not been delivered. I paid for next day delivery. As I am going away, the shop they're being delivered to will return them to sender. Hotter shoes have not replied to my emails.

I keep getting mail from Hotter. Its for the previous occupant who left 2 years ago ! I phoned before christmas and was told it could take a couple of months but it still keeps coming! How much crap do they send out goes straight into the recycling bin?

Disgraceful service. I have an 89 year old auntie who was not able to return the she’s that didn’t fit her. She’s in a care home and I live 3.5 hours away. Money is key for her but we are about 3 weeks out of the return period. Shoes are still selling at full price but they would not even exceptionally help with a return. These are not cheap and she’s only got a small pension. I think this is poor that an exception cannot be made. I do not recommend.
