Bought some festoon lights for outside, they were installed correctly, however they only lasted 3 weeks.

Clean and tidy store

I visited the ashington branch. The store was airy and clean . After I selected my goods off I went to the checkout. There were a couple of ladies in front of me and they were greeted with a hello by the checkout lady called jenna. .she was friendly and polite to them and even said thank you. Then it came to my turn what a jekyll and Hyde. I got no greeting I was giving no eye contact I got no please or thank you she was only interested in getting another member of staff on the tills so was talking to her colleague while zapping my products? 2 star service and that's being generous

Home Bargains in Albany Road, Cardiff

I visit Home Bargains earlier this afternoon in Albany Road Cardiff, 1 of your staff name Luke ( he maybe a supervisor ) wearing red shirt walked in front of me when me and my son was looking at the shelf to see what drinks to buy, what he could have done is walked behind us and he did not even say 'sorry' or 'excuse me' for doing that, I found that is kind of 'rude' attitude towards customers. You know I work in retail myself so that kind of behaviour is not acceptable.

I just wanted to share a few words about Gary in the Hayes Middlesex Branch

I just wanted to share a few words about Gary at Home Bargains in Hayes Middlesex, he is truly a shining star and a credit to the store. Every time I’ve been served by him, he’s cheered me up with his warm smile and genuinely lovely personality. You can see how much joy he brings to every customer he interacts with. It’s rare to come across someone who makes shopping feel more like a pleasure than a chore. I was sad to learn that Gary will soon be leaving the company this will be a huge loss not only to Home Bargains but to all the loyal customers who look forward to seeing him. He will definitely be missed. Wishing you all the best in your new job, Gary! Any team will be lucky to have you.

Home Bargains. Ellesmere port

I visited the store in Ellesmere Port on Monday and found what I was looking for. When I went to checkout, I noticed bags of 'compost' outside the store. The lady at the 'till' went out of her way to facilitate my picking the 'compost ' up later and adjusted my payments. Very helpful 👌, I was very pleased.

I have to say straight of the bat

I have to say straight of the bat, I love Home Bargain stores. I like their philosophy, their staff are always helpful if you're searching for a product, tho the way the stores are laid out it's not too difficult to find what you want. The clue is in their name Home Bargains. There are plenty of bargains to be had. Plenty of big brand names (and not so big). Where we live near Shipley, in Bradford, a newly built store has opened (about a year ago), it's one of their larger stores, and there is a massive range of goods to choose from. The size of the store is just right too, no walking up and down long isles, if you know what I mean. Home Bargains has become our first port of call for lots of home/food/garden and other goodies. Highly recommended.

Awful Awful experience

Awful Awful experience. Prices were good and thats why i ordered from them. If you receive your order all well and good. When you run into a problem then thats where you hit a brick wall. The website contact us page is non existant. If you have a problem you can only read what they have put up on their help page. If the answers they give you isnt there then you have no button to press to contact them. I ordered 20 items and after 5 days one item was sent. I waited a few days for the rest and it didnt come. Eventually through some forum i used a link where i could email them. They told me EVRI had the parcel and it will be with me in the next 3 days. I waited 4 and nothing so sent another email and they told me they would chase it up. Give them another 3 days. I gave them 4 and still nothing. Sent them another email and they just said we wont send anything and will refund me. This is awful service and its like they dont even care. I bet they never contacted EVRI and were just hoping the parcel turned up. Will not be using again

Battered packaging slight damage

Received my parcel today delivered by Evri.. In a bad state boxed damaged.. Item slight damage due to flimsy packaging and box damaged in transit.. Paid double for online p&p.than I would Argos who deliver same day. Absolutely disgusting service. Won't be using the online service ever again. It was only because I'm not able to get to the store near me. Which I've never had a problem with in store purchases.

I purchased 2 balloons from Home…

I purchased 2 balloons from Home Bargains in Stourbridge, when I got home one had split open, phoned the store and spoke to Jordan who was extremely helpful. I went back the following day and saw James the store Manager, he was so kind, helpful, nothing was too much trouble for him. It’s lovely that you employ kind caring people, James is an asset to your store.

Our favourite branch.…

Home Bargains has an excellent range of products with excellent prices. Our favourite branch is Trimdon Street Sunderland- all the staff are very friendly, and the cafe is always part of the visit!

Terrible

Awful ‘customer’ service. Wanted to purchase a sun lounger in store which was not in stock . Emailed customer services who were not able to check their ‘own’ stocks or telephone their ‘own’ stores to find the product absolutely useless! Zero customer service.
