Useless
Bought some festoon lights for outside, they were installed correctly, however they only lasted 3 weeks.
Home Bargains has room for improvement based on customer feedback. Customers particularly appreciate service and quality, though some mention concerns about customer service and communication.

I visited the ashington branch. The store was airy and clean . After I selected my goods off I went to the checkout. There were a couple of ladies in front of me and they were greeted with a hello by the checkout lady called jenna. .she was friendly and polite to them and even said thank you. Then it came to my turn what a jekyll and Hyde. I got no greeting I was giving no eye contact I got no please or thank you she was only interested in getting another member of staff on the tills so was talking to her colleague while zapping my products? 2 star service and that's being generous
I visit Home Bargains earlier this afternoon in Albany Road Cardiff, 1 of your staff name Luke ( he maybe a supervisor ) wearing red shirt walked in front of me when me and my son was looking at the shelf to see what drinks to buy, what he could have done is walked behind us and he did not even say 'sorry' or 'excuse me' for doing that, I found that is kind of 'rude' attitude towards customers. You know I work in retail myself so that kind of behaviour is not acceptable.
No school cakes or giant monster munch. Absolutely raging. Not acceptable. This place is terrible.

Manager Jo in Portishead went out of his way to help replace a Bubble Mower and brought one from Weston to Portishead. It is rare these days to experience such a nice, helpful person and is such an asset to Home Bargains. Thanks again Jo

Bought a blender from them and it has fallen apart after 3 weeks. -It has caused a minor shock -Damaged goods such as airpods and iphone charger that were on a counter -The blender is broken and faulty, the bottom fell out and liquids spilt everywhere Their cx service has refused to open a complaint, have been unhelpful and refuse a good will gesture for damages, faulty item, injury and poor cx service. I will never buy from them again.

The best shop in the U.K. If you need to buy toiletries, stationary, garden and camping goods, toys, confectionery, kitchenwares or lights, there are few places where you will find a better deal. The staff are friendly and helpful. I don't know what I'd do if they were to close their doors.

I ordered something on line from home bargains it was supposed to be delivered by everi well it hasn't. They have apparently looked for it and can't find it. So suggested I contact home bargains I did on 3 separate occasions they have said there's a back logg at everi but they are saying it is lost. Money has been taken but no item no response or refund. Joke!

Was asked to leave the sunderland branch today as apparantly I had been flagged by facewatch as being involved in crime and shoplifting?? Its the facial recognition cameras in store obviously faulty as I have zero convictions no instances whatsoever of shop lifting we spend 150 pounds a month in there and when asked if I could see the comparison pic they were supposed to comparing me to I was refused so he set at top of his voice we work closely with the police at which time I blew a gasket being accused with no evidence whatsoever snd being embarrassed in front of everyone beware uou are being watched by big brother who gets it wrong and you still suffer a massive data protection breach as they are holding figital records for shop floor staff to view on their mobile phones!! Not happy thus will go as far as I can take it a totally discrimatory unlawful event

I had a very nasty experience in Home Bargains. I went in to be greeted by an over zealous assistant telling me I had to go out I was barred. Apparently according to them I was flagged up in Facewatch. They said I had hit a male assistant on the arm. He nearly knocked me over with a large trolley I said you nearly knocked me over but I didn’t touch him. I have been in touch with Home Bargains Head Office They are terrible to deal with and won’t let me have CCTV of the alleged incident. I am a 73 year old pensioner and in the past I have spent a lot of money in Home Bargains but will never set foot in one again

I found what I needed, but the person who served me said that’s 4.45. I started school in 1974. One of the first things that I remember being taught was that whenever you are given something you should say thank you, and whenever you ask for something you should say please.
