Bought some festoon lights for outside, they were installed correctly, however they only lasted 3 weeks.
I visited the ashington branch. The store was airy and clean . After I selected my goods off I went to the checkout. There were a couple of ladies in front of me and they were greeted with a hello by the checkout lady called jenna. .she was friendly and polite to them and even said thank you. Then it came to my turn what a jekyll and Hyde. I got no greeting I was giving no eye contact I got no please or thank you she was only interested in getting another member of staff on the tills so was talking to her colleague while zapping my products? 2 star service and that's being generous
I visit Home Bargains earlier this afternoon in Albany Road Cardiff, 1 of your staff name Luke ( he maybe a supervisor ) wearing red shirt walked in front of me when me and my son was looking at the shelf to see what drinks to buy, what he could have done is walked behind us and he did not even say 'sorry' or 'excuse me' for doing that, I found that is kind of 'rude' attitude towards customers. You know I work in retail myself so that kind of behaviour is not acceptable.
No school cakes or giant monster munch. Absolutely raging. Not acceptable. This place is terrible.

Today iint in to home bargains on the botley road in oxford. We went to the cafe 1st which had a queue and only 1 pleasant man serving. We had our drinks and food and then I went to use the disabled toilet. There was rubbish, toilet roll on floor, other rubbish lying around and the floor was quite wet. It was unpleasant. I did take photos. I have never been in this toilet before where it is what felt dirty. I have no idea what was going on with the toilet roll holder on the wall. We then did our shopping and the time we left, on till receipt was 12.48pm. The store was not overly busy, we got through a till straight away.

Absolute scam there gift cards. They create a card with a perforated edge. If separated you cannot use the gift card to use it. Hard urned cash on it £20 might as well throw it in the bin. On the lower card piece should also be the bar code. Scam product. Never ever purchase from you again.

Visited home bargains on Saturday 28th December at approx 14.30. Waited 20mins for toast & coffee, three people in front of me. The lady who was serving spent more time talking to customers she obviously knew. It seemed that She was the only member of staff on duty which is not only ridiculous on a busy Saturday but also unacceptable on a health and safety perspective. How can one staff member take orders, prepare drinks and food and clean tables ( lots of dirty tables!!). This Wrexham cafe needs to learn fast from the newly opened Warrington branch. Excellent serving routine,, happy friendly staff, at least 5 staff on duty, each one with their own job to do like a well-oiled machine! No queueing for very long, Excellent place. Surely, all home bargains cafe's should be run in exactly the same way?

I'm s Managing director of 2 organisations in 2 different towns including Loughborough for the last 25 years if its one thing g I hate is being ganged up on Taking it lying down not. A river always has 2 banks if amember of staff has a problem with a customer who is king you there is no business without customers a good manager would find out the customers side of the story this so called manager come up in my face just because she looks like a man how dare her I'll stick to Tesco avoid this store like the plaige they are haters and that's ot allowed I'd like to see her treat black people like that in a multi racial city I told tolerate being treated hostile by no inexperienced manager the cashier moved my stuff and I'm looking for my stuff she just ignored me and said nothing how dare her I wasn't even 2 minutes and the wasn't in anyone's way she is just a a jobsworth and didn't like it because I was honest to some haters if you are honest they say you are rude if you say it the way it is they say you aggressive I looked in her face saw the hate this is not the 1960's sorry she's telling me don't come back as if why do you think I walked out and left the shopping? You really think I wanted to come back? Obviously racist that's against the law too. No wonder black people don't shop there. That's not the only store in Loughborough is it? Freedom of speech you are horrible haters And that supervisor guy I thought he was OK he's a jobsworth and a fake he knows I always rest a few things by the cash out but off the convey belt he's so unprofessional he came rushing up to the till with his face ugly up like a bull all hostile instead of asking me my side of the story guess my my side don't count accused. Sentenced and hanged eh? Customer is king if she don't loke her job that's her problem you are all fake and horrible people. Do not shop in this place stay away

Abbey Foregate Staff are friendly and helpful. There is a lady on the till (I will find out her name!) Who is so friendly and chatty,I feel like I'm catching up with a friend! A few weeks ago I was looking for a product and a gentleman who worked in the store went out of his way to help me,he was so polite and kind. Meole Brace store I was served by a teenager called Alfie. I was blown away at how chatty and friendly he was,alot of the time teenagers get shy etc but he chatted away and was so friendly. He definitely needs some recognition! All in all friendly staff and good product ranges,shelves are always full!

We usually visit the Wellingborough store a few times a week, and have done for years (COVID 19 meant a once a week or less visit), we are always happy with the shopping experience, checkout staff are always polite, helpful and smiling, if any questions arise when looking for products, the floor staff are always willing to help, if queues start to build , extra checkouts are opened , all in all it's a pleasure shopping there, (although my wallet may disagree).

Put order in for £63 on the 11th December I wrote asking where my order was Got a message back saying if I hadn't received it for the 25th Dec to follow it up. Got another email after I complained about not knowing about the 10 day thing. 23rd December email came saying I had a refund 1-5 Working days as they are unable to resend items! I never cancelled order I was just asking where it was and why it took so long Online shopping is easier for me as I don't drive. But I will stay well clear of online shopping with home & bargain!! Never again

I love home bargins but sending things at christmas is defintly not there forte. I had bought somethings that i needed before christmas. It said it would take 3-5 days which i didnt think would be a problem. They sent through EVRi which is not normally a problem. I thought the £10 delivery was abit steep to wait 3 days. Home bargins did try and put the blame on EVRi but they themselves didnt send my items till a week later. Online communication is really poor especially on X (twitter) which states there online to help mon-fri 9-5pm. They replied to one messagee and that was it. Email is alittle better but a few days. I found a phone number where i was helped but in the end after waiting 12 days and packaged was delayed i got a refund as by the time i would of received would of been no point. Even trying to get the refund in the end was abit of a faff even though i was offered one before that. Its been 4 days and still no refund of £79.99. Ive had 2 different items from 2 different companys i bought yesterday and a paid a fraction of the p&p price! 1 i paid next day with simply be and one with TU and they always send next day delivery. So just shows the business can make sure the customer gets there item ontime especially for christmas and i bought on a weekend. I just felt like HB didnt really care whether my items got to me before christmas or not.
