I've hosted my website with Heart for many years and recently had an email problem. Turned out to be at my client end, nothing to do with Heart, but Andrew Welsby on their support team was really hepful and managed to pin down the problem and help me sort it. I've always found them quick to provide excellent support which is why I've stayed with them for years.
I’ve been with Heart for many years, I have had to stop working recently due to ill health and had a renewal notice through a few days ago. I contacted Heart to ask if I could ‘reduce’ my package as I no longer needed it but wanted to keep my email addresses etc. I used the online service and had a very quick response from the customer services guy called Andrew Welsby, within a day he sorted out exactly what I needed and kept me advised as things progressed. Reminded me why I stayed with Heart for many years! Excellent service and plans at very reasonable prices. Top marks for their service and most appreciated. Thank you Heart
Quick response to my support request. Simple explanation on how to resolve. Highly recommend heart, fair play to them not had a problem with any of their services and I have sites, email and domain parking, like the fact there is no messing about and all the tech persons actually know their stuff.

I ended up with heart internet by default as our previous website manager had used it before retiring. I had occasion to try and wrestle with things today - like updating the PHP - which if I found not easy to do! I struggled with their customer interface. However I had very helpful support online from them today which sorted out the problem.

We were with Heart Internet for over 15 years. Recently we closed our account and moved all sites to a new host because we can no longer trust them. TL; DR: Repeated billing errors, trying to take money from our account without permission (months after we cancelled all services and left them) a refusal to own up to mistakes (let alone apologise), deliberately locking us out of our sites and passing it off as a technical error, then breaking GDPR regulations with respect to our banking and personal data. In their reply (to this post on TrustPilot) Heart say they reached out to help us. That it’s not a problem to fix this. What they say publicly is not how they act in reality. When I phoned them to get this ‘help’ they refused to look into it, saying they couldn’t possibly have made a mistake. They pretty much accused me of lying. Moving to a new host has been an eye-opener for us: Better product, better value, modern user interface and customer service that actually feels like ‘service’. As an (ex) customer it feels as if they’re in decline (certainly not keeping up). From their attitude to customers to their competence at managing basic billing and account services, to the way they hike up prices (see how much they charge for SSL certificates ¬– I now get these free). From our experience we see them as an untrustworthy company. You don’t make mistakes, then lock a business out of their account because of them and make it so utterly painful to resolve. When you make mistakes you don’t blame everyone else, you own them, fix them. And maybe even apologise. And you don’t say you’ve deleted bank details and then try to use them again once the customer has left you. We have reported Heart Internet to the Information Commissioner’s Office for their GDPR failures. I hope Heart wake up to their responsibilities and fix this before we have to take stronger action against them.

Had a query about forwarding emails from unhosted domains that was answered quickly and professionally. Maggie helped me out today, but should point out that Vladimira was equally helpful last week too.

Having moved 100's of sites away from this company, I still have a few lingering. And Heart Internet still manage to provide the worst support, the worst service, and continue to infuriate. If they ever reply to tickets, it is initially 'Everything is fine' it must be you. Once you spend an hour proving to them there is an issue, they tell you they know, and it is resolved. It has not been resolved it is another fob off. When you press for details, the ticket goes silent. You can beg all you like, the problems still persist and they ignore tickets. This was once such a powerful and good company. It gets worse and worse with every week. But then again, being bought by GoDaddy is a pretty big low.
