Online chat support was quick and easy.
I've hosted my website with Heart for many years and recently had an email problem. Turned out to be at my client end, nothing to do with Heart, but Andrew Welsby on their support team was really hepful and managed to pin down the problem and help me sort it. I've always found them quick to provide excellent support which is why I've stayed with them for years.
I’ve been with Heart for many years, I have had to stop working recently due to ill health and had a renewal notice through a few days ago. I contacted Heart to ask if I could ‘reduce’ my package as I no longer needed it but wanted to keep my email addresses etc. I used the online service and had a very quick response from the customer services guy called Andrew Welsby, within a day he sorted out exactly what I needed and kept me advised as things progressed. Reminded me why I stayed with Heart for many years! Excellent service and plans at very reasonable prices. Top marks for their service and most appreciated. Thank you Heart
Quick response to my support request. Simple explanation on how to resolve. Highly recommend heart, fair play to them not had a problem with any of their services and I have sites, email and domain parking, like the fact there is no messing about and all the tech persons actually know their stuff.

Absolutely abysmal service. I was with them for 6 years, never had any reason to contact them, however when I needed access to SSH and php 8.2 on my server (basic feature any developer should expect in late 2024), this is where things got bad. SSH "access" was granted after a 4 day wait, however I had no access to Composer or even the PHP command, rendering SSH access COMPLETELY useless for any competent PHP developer. The only thing I could do was remove files. What exactly is the point of this. PHP 8.2 was enabled, however basic components had not been enabled such as the GD image library, meaning my site was still unusable. I was told that GD could not be installed on this PHP version as it would affect others on the same server... however GD is actually an extension which just need to be enabled, not installed. I was then told to switch my site to use Imagik instead of GD, but of course, this was not enabled on this PHP version either. After wasting another 3 days (my website being down the whole time) I was told that to use composer and GD with PHP 8.2 I would need to move to a cPannel hosting package which would be discontinued in 2 months, at which point I would need to migrate BACK to the original package which would have been updated. They offered this as a solution so obviously I assumed this would be done on my behalf, free of charge, however I was expected to pay for the replacement service and migrate everything myself... because THEIR system is out of date... absolutely disgusting. After wasting over 2 weeks in total and having my website unusable the entire time, I decided to move away to a popular host located in Germany, where I was able to setup an account, upload my files, configure the DNS, setup my email accounts, access SSH, compile my website, upload my old files & database and have the domain transferred and live, by myself, in less than 90 minutes. At this point I wanted to cancel my Heart hosting package, after much searching I found that I would need to raise a ticket to do this as there is no simple way to cancel your account. 2024 btw. I raised a ticket asking that my package be cancelled and the DNS/Nameservers be maintained when parking my domain. I got a response the next day telling me my nameservers. I asked them if my package had been cancelled... they said no. Are you actually serious at this point? So if I hadn't asked you would have continued to take my money even AFTER being told explicitly to cancel it. I am currently waiting for a response, because of course I have to wait another day for a response to my ticket, it's Heart Internet after all. SLOW, SLOW, SLOW seems to be the theme. Aside from these issues, over the 6 years I was with Heart, my email was unavailable for an extended period of time on 4 separate occasions, I have been unable to send mail through their SMTP server many times, the control panel is slow, many of the features listed in the hosting manager simply do not function and I was unable to create additional email address and databases for the last 6 months. I wanted to support British businesses but if this is the level of service on offer, I can't in good faith recommend Heart Internet.
I've been a heart customer for around 10 years now. I cant fault their customer service its been fantastic. No reason to consider going anywhere else
Things are looking up.have managed with Andrew`s help to get up and running again, great stuff!
My problem? : I had paid for renewal for 9 years in 2015 so completely forgot about it and also changed e mail addresses. As a result I did not get the renewal notice and they had no phnoe number either so it expired!! Right in this busy period for me. Anyway it was a real hassle over the weekend to sort it as their chat service is Mon - Fri UK office hours only. Note that. Their ticket service is slow compared with chat. In the end I chatted with Andrei who was extremely helpful and manged to get me up and running on Monday morning 30th . Just make sure you keep your e mail address up to date with them and your password and tel number. It was a very stressful 4 days having my whole business website down. Lucky it got noticed by my web designer !! Phew !!! Nte if you have the same problem make sure you have ID papers. and proof of address HMRC, Tax bank statement , driving licence etc to upload. VERY important.
Having locked myself out of both Heart internet Accounts I reached out to Charles Pugh Glass Ltd located next to Heart Internet. Asking if he could raise awareness with Heart Internet located next door. What happened next is what you see in movies for as I was talking to the gentleman from Charles Pugh, my telephone rang. It was Adam from Heart internet, who got me up and running again. Today was a day when Heart Internets customer Service did not raise the bar, it pushed it around the Solar System and back. In closing I would be grateful if you would visit Charle Pugh Glass and thank the gentleman who took my telephone call. With my very best wishes to you all! John White Professional Life Coach
I’ve been hosting with Heart for around 15 years now. Never an issue with my site being down. Any questions I have asked to help with build or errors that have arisen from my build have always been dealt with swiftly and at a very high standard and today has been the same. They know what they are doing. Highly recommended
Excellent customer service from Alexandra who helped me assign an unallocated SSL certificate I had in my account to a new domain I was setting up. Not only did he help me complete this, he provided extra tips regarding an "htaccess redirect". Very knowledgeable and forthcoming with help.
I had to use the Live Chat for a support issue and I have to say it is the best Live Chat for support I have used. I was not rushed or passed from person to person, I did not have to restart or answer many unnecessary questions. I wish all support chats were as effificent
I was delighted to be assisted by Heart Internet. After Falcoda's demise I wasn't too sure how to retrieve even my webdomains which they had typically renewed my proprietorship of through their own means. Anyway, Heart helped rescue one from redemption and enabled me to renew the other just before it fell into that status, giving me piece of mind. Their services were prompt, cost me very little extra overhead, with no obligation to serve those websites' contents through their company (because in the meantime I had already arranged an alternative having at least rescued the content from Falcoda). Based on the above experience, when the time comes I shall move management of my two other domains to Heart Internet.
