Phone tree system is not easy or convenient. Long wait times to get customer service.
Could have been more flexible on rates, especially with repeat Customers like myself.
Initial rates were OK, but be very careful if you're considering these guys. There was no notice at the end of my 4 month term at which time Sunwave automatically put me into a much higher rate plan and locked me in for 8 months. When I tried to move my service to a more reasonable provider they threatened to charge me a $50 early cancellation fee, even though I completed my originally agreed upon term and never agreed to the new term. When I called them to discuss they were unsympathetic, rude and stuck to the $50 charge. Looks like I just learned a $50 lesson. That lesson, "Don't use Sunwave Gas & Power...!"
Sunwave gas & power provided my business a savings on the generated cost of electricity, which as any business owner knows we are always looking for ways to save money while maintaining the best facility for our business.
it was fast, quick and easy and the gentleman i spoke with was very polite and explained everything i asked about and their was no long sales pitch.
This is my 3rd generation contract with Sunwave. They are no longer the lowest cost generation provider in my service territory, but they are still reasonable. I now have been able to renew with them twice, albeit at a slightly higher cost. I have had contracts with several other generation companies over the years and Sunwave is the first one that I have had multiple contracts with. All of the other companies only wanted new customers. They weren't interested in keeping customers. Sunwave is a refreshing departure from those practices. They are quite trustworthy.

Good service but don't notify you when fixed term is up to look for renewal. You have to monitor yourself. Floating rates much higher than fixed.
Decent rates that are a bit lower than my electric company. Easy sign up & great customer service.
Rates are good and I would give 5 stars , But on the company side doesn't have a way to see your account with them or when your contract is due to expire. In the past with this company it was that I would get a reminder email prior to expiration of term and current rates to renew with. My last contract went on a year when I knew I was expecting at least a renewal after 6 to 9months. With that timeframe I wasn't even sure when I last renewed and what I picked, cause it was so long and I started second guessing myself as my bill from ppl kept saying I still had time. When I got one call recently which I thought was odd when I have email as my best contact. They told me via voicemail my account would go back to ppl in a month with no follow up email with link to current customer rates.
The customer service is great. And I like that you can easily change plans wothin sunwave, without getting penalized.
We were seeking a replacement for our current electrical provider. An internet search indicated that Sunwave was a possibility. I contacted them and was very impressed with the customer service representative. The price is right and, so far so is the experience.
