I have dealt with Freightera since they started up and have always found them to be excellent in their service, very fair to best in pricing and very attentive to shipping and customer details. I have used them for LTL to large oversized multiple trailer loads both in Canada and USA.

We have used Freightera for our manufacturing business 4-5 times and have found it to be a useful tool for identifying market price for carrier shipments. Of course, when using a broker platform like Freightera you need to rely completely on their capabilities and communication to ensure that your goods arrive in a timely fashion. We recently had an issue with a carrier and our account representative at Freightera Julien Levin stepped up to the challenge. Julien took full ownership of the problem and was able to work out a solution for us in record time. We are happy Freightera customers as a result! Would recommend.

Have been using Freighera for 6 years , and could not be happier. My previous shipper, Fedex Freight, started taking me for granted - they would periodically add arbitrary surcharges to the invoices and hope I would not notice. Cancelling those surcharges would take hours on the phone. After saying goodbye to FedEx and switching to Freightera's marketplace, I started saving huge on freight. I save around 30% shipping from Toronto to Minesotta, and around 60% shipping Toronto to Buffalo. Ability to schedule pick ups online and upload all documents + auto-generate BOL is an added bonus. Takes 5 mins to get all paperwork completed!!! I wish everything else in this world was so easy. Their web site is great and getting better, as they keep improving it. Also, since I can see all shippers with prices before booking the pick up, I can choose the shipper that worked well for me before. This reduces the risk, because I always deal with the same company in the end. Switching to Freightera for LTL shipments within Canada and Canada->US is a no-brainer move I recommend to all business owners, big and small.

I scheduled a next-day pickup for a time-sensitive shipment. I needed to get the shipment out ASAP to avoid being hit with high storage fees from my warehouse. On Freightera’s site, the search results showed a limited time deal with Central Freight Lines, which I booked. I received an email from Freightera that Central Freight confirmed the pickup. At about 2pm on pickup day, I realize the pickup has not been made. I used the online chat with Freightera for an update, and after waiting nearly an hour for an answer, the chat was ended with no resolution. The Freightera rep said they were waiting on hold for the carrier, which I had done myself for an hour with no answer. I found a direct phone phone number for the carrier on my own — shouldn’t Freightera have this number!? The carrier, Central Freight, said Freightera never sent them the BOL or any paperwork so they could not make the pickup. The carrier also said they don’t make pickups from my warehouse on the day requested. I tried to get Freightera to schedule a same-day pickup to get the shipment, but they were unable to do so. Freightera apparently has no connections with the carriers they use, aside from calling the published customer service number and waiting on hold like everyone else. Also, when a scheduled pickup has not been made by a certain time, shouldn’t Freightera realize this and attempt to handle the situation? So in my experience, Freightera offered shipping solutions that were unable to be fulfilled; they had no means of contacting the scheduled carrier; and they were unable to contact a carrier to rectify the situation. Now I’m hit with the storage fees I was trying to avoid. I cannot trust Freightera, and will never use them in the future.

Great rates. Simple and easy system! The pick-up date needed changing after the shipment had been booked - with other systems this woudl be a nightmare, however was easily changed with a single phone-call.

Only two issues, one we have discussed before and seems to be improving, the second is very irritating for someone who starts their day at 4am... 1st Issue - Delay between submitting and receiving carrier confirmation. Sometimes the delay between submitting and receiving carrier confirmation is nervously long. As I said before this is improving. 2nd Issue - If I try and book an order before approximately 8am (not sure the exact time, I set my reminder for 8am to complete) I cannot select same day pick up, it always defaults to the next business day with no option to change. This needs to be addressed Overall though it is a good experience and communications top notch except for the issues listed above.

I purchase goods for my distribution employer and part of my job is finding the cheapest, most effective, and reliable way to ship those goods. Freightera allows me to at the very least see where the market for the shipment should be at. Sure I can find more competitive rates sometimes, but the ability to make quick judgments without waiting 24-48 hours for 3-5 quotes to come back is an extremely powerful tool to have. They partner with great carriers, some of which I also have accounts with and can STILL get a lower rate with said carriers through freightera from time to time. Their customer service team is quick to respond and provide superb assistance. The ease of use on their site is incredible to say the least, especially for the industry they are in. The only bad thing I have found using them is there is no way to save a quote for my vendor to submit for pick up when the shipment is ready. I have historically always had to do the booking, not a terrible drawback, all considered.

We love Feightera which makes our shipping arrangement way easier. All the process are simple to follow, staff are super friendly and service is always there whenever you need.

my go to trucking company, for domestic or international. i highly recomend the freightera team, they are very efficient, pleasant and professional. i had one problem in the last few years, and although it was not freighteras error, they went above and beyond to make my experience a good one. i cannot say enough good things about the dispatcher, the CSR staff and the website functionality great job guys!! cheers smoking cat distribution team

Moving is never easy but thanks to the good people at Freightera, at least coordinating the logistics was much more simple. I'd especially like to compliment Katarina, who was fantastic in responding promptly to answer my questions while also making herself available to problem solve by offering viable solutions and flexibility. I'd also like to compliment Armound who made an extra trip to make sure my shipment was picked up in time. Freightera and their moving partners went above and beyond to make things happen and assist with bumps in the road. I am very grateful to have found their service and would recommend it to anyone! The excellent customer service they provide combined with their employees' sense of professionalism meant one less thing to worry about during what would otherwise have been a stressful time. Thanks so much, you're the best!
