They sell a product to help you avoid being scammed, and then scam you themselves by signing you up for a long subscription and making it very difficult to cancel it. Very disappointed.
I am based in Kenya. Recently I purchased and shipped the FIXD App. I was initially sceptical as to what the tiny gadget could do. My Car (VW Touran 2006) had been diagnosed by various leading companies using some of the most expensive gadgets in my country and all showed error code P2293. When I plugged the FIXD App, it was the only one which revealed a knock sensor issue (P0322) apart from the previous. I therefore rate it higher than any other scan tool out there.

The FIXD itself is a good product. Customer service is not good. My wife purchased several of these on a special deal last year and gave them to family members. She got a introductory deal on the premium pkg. She was told they would notify her when they was going to take out the annual payment. This did not happen. She called the day it was taken out and told them she received nothing about the withdraw. She asked for payment to be stopped. They said they would cancel the subscription and send a confirmation and who to contact about the renewal payment within 48 hours. This did not happen. Called them again and got the same response. The thir time we talked to a Ryan. we told him the situation. He informed is that we gave them permission when we purchased it. He said they do not send out emails to customers and after a long discussion he verbally gave us a confirmation number. The two prior calls could have said this rather than saying we would receive a confirmation within 48 hours. The product is good but Customer service is terrible. unfriendly and not professional.
The four stars I gave is for the product. The one I did not give is for customer service.

I checked my car was compatible before purchase, in reality it doesn't seem to be. But it's hard to tell, the car-selecting database is a mess. My car's dashboard reported an error, Fixd couldn't find it. It's not easy to understand what's going on in the app. Will sell the unit on and try something else.
I ordered from Fixd Automotive, couple yrs back. They put me on the monthly plan for $69.99, which I had to cancel out. All was good until this morning. I woke up with another $69.99 taken out of my account. I make minimum wage while being a single parent. I can't afford for companies to randomly take money from my account, with out my approval. Now this company will make it to where I have late fees that I can't afford. Thanks Fixd Automotive ! Never again !
I absolutely love this gadget! Has saved us thousands in mechanic bills. No exaggeration. Loved it so much for our cars I’ve order two as gifts for family members. Peace of mind for me as well. Best money spent ever! Thank you FIXD!
I should of check Trustpilot as they are the only site that gives the real reviews, most of the review sites are sponsored by Trustpilot. I bought 2 of these and they will not work with my Android phone that has Android Version 10 to find out that they only work with the major cell phones like Apple, Sansung (Samscum), LG (Literally Garbage) and their support is slow to respond with no offer of refund so "Buyer Beware" this is just another China ripoff! When you get a response from their support all the instructions Like "Kindly go to the right side menu and under settings change it to Bluetooth classic. You will then need to close out of the app completely to fix the issue."do not work and the things they tell you are not there leaving you wondering what they are talking about as I could not find this so called Menu anywhere. And as for a blue power light coming on, I saw no such light even when I borrowed a Samsung phone just to see if they worked.
I purchased the FIXD for my husband with the hopes we could get my car running. The car has been sitting for six or seven months undrivable. When we received FIXD we immediately went out to try it out and see what would happen. When we got the code results we had never heard of the part. we bought the part and the car is now drivable with no problems.

You do not buy products from this company bad customer service. More than 3 weeks ago I bought a product that never arrived. They only say that the product is in the mail and it is not true in the mail it does not appear. as a company they are so deficient that they are not able to get products to customers.

I should have read the reviews! This may well work for USA Mercedes but not for my UK Mercedes. Checked compatibility, entered 2020, Mercedes, Gas and received yes it will work. Plugged unit in, tried to enter 2020, Mercedes A180....... not found. Had to enter 2008 A180 for device to pair. No faults on car so time will tell is this works. Not the best start
