Review summary
FIXD has mixed reviews from customers. Customers particularly appreciate service and reliable, though some mention concerns about customer service and expensive.
They charge you a subscription fee automatically without you ever signing up for it and make some long winded bs way of going through their site cramming their product subscription down your throat to get your refund back, we will see if I even get the refund back…
Great product. I had a question and needed assistance. My email was answered promptly and the request was handled by the time they emailed. Great customer service!!
They sell a product to help you avoid being scammed, and then scam you themselves by signing you up for a long subscription and making it very difficult to cancel it. Very disappointed.
I bought 3 of these one for each of my sons and myself these were costly devices Then find out in order to use them you have to spend more money for a membership thing to use it...What a fake I'd like to get my money back but Im sure they wouldnt send it.Theyd be like paypal and lie each time I'd call telling me the refund is in the mail you should get it in 10 business days every 3 months when I call...
I bought two of these devices without knowing that, in order for these things to work, I would also have to pay a yearly subscription for $69.00! I believe that it is very short sighted for marketers to conduct business this way. I will never again trust the website that recommended this product. Always check the reviews online before you purchase anything!
I was excited to get my fixd in the mail. I got it and first off found no explanation inside the packaging. I went to the website to test compatibility. Nothing worked when I clicked the any of the boxes to designate my car, year, make or model. Extremely disappointing! Now what?
For a cheap piece of electronics, this device means a lot to a motorist facing a modern automobile problem, the check engine light. Plugging it into the ODB2 port and running a phone app reveals very accurately the essential cause of the CEL. While it cannot precisely identify a particular manufacturer's code, it gives enough information to start a more in depth analysis and a repair of the problem.
Bought one for 20.00 bucks not knowing i could get a machine for about half the price that can do what this thing is said to do with out the premium. There are other products that do what they say can do with out having to pay extra for the software. Plus customer service was terrible. And didn't want to hear what the customer had to say..
Advertising claims it can do things that it cannot. It cannot diagnose ANY manufacturer specific lights or codes. It cannot even read them. There are scanners one quarter of the price and free apps that can do what Fixd charges a premium to do. Highly misleading advertising and claims.
