Five Star Properties and Bliss Beach Rentals

All went as planned. Had one minor problem with a door handle, but with one call, a service person came the next day and took care of it.

Overall, this was a good property for our group of 14. The location is great relative to beach access, and there was a golf cart rental included that we didn't expect, which was a big bonus. Kids and adults both enjoyed the putting green area. However, we did have a handful of issues that were not dealt with the way I'd expect. I received notice shortly before checking in that there was an issue with the oven, and that it would need to be repaired/replaced. When speaking with the property manager on the day of check-in, it was explained that it would likely be replaced on Monday. In the meantime, they had put a small counter top convection oven and toaster oven in the property. Sounded reasonable. What wasn't reasonable was the fact that nothing of any size to feed 14 people could be realistically accommodated in either of those solutions. The property management also indicated that we would be compensated for the issue, given that we had $1,000 of groceries being delivered to the property at check-in. Aside from an unannounced visit from a maintenance person mid-week to place a strip of electrical tape over the controls, I have not heard anything further about the issue. No resolution and no compensation. Additional issues included the hot tub jets working initially, then failing, and being told that guests don't have access to the hot tub functions. Would have been good to know in advance. We also got another surprise maintenance visit after reporting that the house's elevator was not functioning. Maintenance actually entered the house unannounced on that occasion, which is concerning. We liked the house and would consider it again in full working order. However the handling of our issues was not in line with the expense of the property.

36 Calypso Cay is a lovely house. Great location. Safe neighborhood. Short walk to the beach. Tons of room for a large family. We especially loved the stand alone ice maker. We had a few minor issues like the gas grill ran out of propane. We called and they had a new tank of propane sitting on our front porch that afternoon when we got back from the beach.

Heaven. Absolutely incredible location -- right on the beach and about 30 minutes from the airport. Go from your bedroom out to the patio, past the large private pool and down the steps to the whitest sand and clearest water you'll ever see. Beach items like chairs and umbrellas are provided, so no need to bring much. This extra-large house sleeps about 35 with plenty of bathrooms and showers to accommodate everyone. Four -- count 'em -- four well-equipped kitchens to make mealtime easy and efficient, with lots of tables and seating for a big family. There's a great media room for watching movies, plus about a dozen other flat screen TVs throughout the home. The pool table is great for those after-beach times and into the evening. Minutes from some very nice restaurants and shopping just down the street, so you won't have to drive forever to find supplies. The bed was VERY comfortable and the air conditioning reliable, so sleeping was easy as well. The bedrooms and bathroom were well-appointed with shower gel and shampoo and plenty of hooks to hang up your wet bathing suits. And of course the place was immaculately clean and sanitized, very important these days. I'm trying to think of some negatives to balance this review but I'm not coming up with anything! I mean, the light switches were even labled! It was simply perfect.

A great getaway! Beautiful views of the gulf! Short distance to the beach. Spacious home in a safe gated community. Perfect week with our family! Highly recommend!!

We have stayed in Ocean Escape before and so we knew the setup was great. Five Star handled the few repairs/replacements that we had with speed and thoroughness. The house was very clean and ready for us at checkin time. Thank you for another relaxing, worry-free vacation!

Would've given 5 Stars if it was cleaner. Sanctuary at Frangista is a beautiful home, and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. the beach and ocean are so pretty. Beach chairs and umbrellas were set up for us daily, and the pool was such a bonus. Would be hard to find a better place in Miramar beach.

Just spent a lovely week at Beach Funatics! Our every need was met perfectly, right down to the beach chairs and umbrellas being placed at water’s edge for us each morning. Beach Funatics is a charming beach house. We loved having such easy access to the beach as well as the pool. Everything was very clean and we felt quite safe while there from any covid-19 germs. Only one small suggestion would be to have more dish towels in the kitchens. Thank you for the best vacation ever Beach Funatics!

The reason i gave five stars is because of the people I delt with from reservations to checkout. I had several occasions to talk with the personnel. Everyone was very friendly, helpful, courteous, professional. This was a very pleasant experience. The house I woukd give three stars it is getting dated. The furnishings three stars inside and one star outside. The third floor master bedroom bed was worn out and horrible. The location in Destin five stars. The beach service for chairs and umbrellas five stars. I would definitely work through 5 Star properties again. However I would probably look for a more luxurious house.

Excellent! By far one of the best located properties in the Rosemary Beach community. The house was literally steps away from the beach and the shops. The house was in good working order and well maintained. We fell safe from the moment we stepped in as we say everything was clean. Wes from Five Star was our agent and he was very attempt and cordial. We are booking our next year's vacation with him!

Beautiful and great location! The grill had no propane, washer and dryer was a total disappointment with taking an hour or more with drying clothes. The water pressure in bathrooms was poor and hot water in kitchen was not hot. The pool was slightly green and the pool guy informed us that it was not normal and should’ve called the day we got there. Would not book this property again.

Property beautiful and perfect. House have everything we need . We hope in future the owner can build a Walkway Pier from the property to the beach .That really help for seniors and someone have knee problem. Thank you

Luxury at every turn, this home is absolute paradise! The pool rivals a 5-star resort with its enormous size, swim up bar, and tons of lounge chairs. With all the amenities, we enjoyed several nights on the back patio without the need to go anywhere. The many ice makers and two kitchens were convenient, and we enjoyed the several decks and ocean views. The golf cart was a nice added bonus, so it was only a quick 30 second drive to the beach. We would love to stay here again.

This is the first year we booked this house and it was perfect for our family...great location on the beach next door to Grayton Beach State Park. It had a beach side pool and a great layout wit three masters, 2 guest rooms and a bunk room. There were a few minor issues tha were promptly handled and did not impact our enjoyment. We have already booked this house for next year and highly recommend it.

Was a nice house besides there was mold in air vents and in the master shower and a good size water stain in the master bedroom, my kids couldn't get in the pool cause we kept getting wrong codes for the pool, the oven In the kitchen. Everytime you used the oven the smoke alarm would go off, the fridge would freeze some of the food in it so we had to throw it out.

Prompt service and understanding of issues. House was more clean than other rental companies have to offer. Towels were packaged and beds very inviting. Appreciate the customer service and discounts to returning customers. Third stay with a Five Star property.

We recently had the opportunity to spend a fabulous week at Beach Funatics. Everything about our stay far exceeded our expectations. The home was gorgeous with attention to every detail from the high quality furnishings and decor to the comfortable, top quality beds. We especially appreciated the thorough cleaning and sealed sterile towels and fresh linens with the concern now with Covid. We loved all the space this place has to offer. We had a huge group and there was room and space for group or private activities on every level of the 3 story home. We really enjoyed the game room and movie room (with movie style electric popcorn machine), 3 covered patio areas, 4 kitchens with lots of room for food preparation and eating together. We also really enjoyed the great and spacious patio with pool, grills, fire pit and lots of comfortable seating. And the private beach was beyond fabulous! We've never enjoyed a more beautiful beach. The white sand was so fine and the water was the perfect temperature. Beach chairs and umbrellas were set out and picked up daily for us. I just can't say enough about how fabulous our stay was at the Beach Funatics! We don't have a single complaint. We really look forward to coming back!!!

Enjoyed our stay at Casa Blanca. Very spacious with plenty of room for everyone. Pool was larger than most of the other rentals we looked at. The house could use some TLC. Front door locks needed batteries replaced and it took a while to first get into the property. Hot water heater and refrigerator were not working the first night. One sink was backed up and it took several days to get it fixed. Found Five Star to be very responsive to our needs. Super easy to book and easy to contact. They even sent someone at midnight to fix the water heater and fridge. Would have certainly rated higher if not for the issues with the home.
