Five Star Properties and Bliss Beach Rentals

Overall, the house “Casa di Tramonto” was perfect for our family. We felt extremely safe in the neighborhood and the walk to the beach was easy. A couple of tips we have for you to consider: 1) Occasionally do a thorough cleaning of the property. I already had a conversation about this with Anthony, but I wanted to mention it again. Topically, the house is basically clean. And we appreciated all of the towels being in packages. But once I made down the queen sofa bed on the lower floor, I found lots of leftover food. There were also dirty spots in corners and the lovely Viking appliances were dirty. Also, if you could provide a vacuum cleaner or a broom on an upper floor, I think guests would be more inclined to use them. 2) We respect the fact that you can’t hang towels and things on the railings. However, there aren’t many places in the bathrooms to hang up towels or bathing suits either. Some hooks would be nice. 3) Last, the dryer doesn’t work well. We would have to run it three or four times to get things dry. Other Destiny by the Sea guests said the same thing about their dryers. I’m sure they are overused, but occasional maintenance would be helpful. Other than that, we had a ball. Thanks and we hope to be back!

Five Star was great in all their efforts for us. When our original house Sea Spell, at Miramar Beach, was sold and the new owner would not honor the lease, 5 Star found us another 8 bed room home. WE stayed at Destiny Shores 3464 old 98 Highway The house was great and we were well taken care of the whole visit. Great Beach and location. The only glich was the trash was not picked up all week till Friday 7 August. Then only the things on the ground were removed, the trash cans were still full WE did not want to leave things on the ground but had no choice. Thanks for all your efforts we will rent from 5 Star again next year. thanks wjb

Very spacious house. We had a good time.

The house we rented was absolutely beautiful and offered all the amenities you could ask for. When we arrived we had to clean out the inside of the refrigerator and there was food left in the outside sink which we had to clean out. the double ovens and the microwave could have been a lot cleaner and we found a few dirty qtips left on the floor which said that the floor had not been cleaned. All of these things will not keep us from renting this house again but the cleaning left a lot to be desired.

We have absolutely no complaints about our stay at this property. It is by far the nicest place we have stayed while visiting the coast. We can’t wait to return in the near future.

The carport needed to be swept - weeds were on the stairs going up to the front door - old newspaper in the bushes and an old can. The furnishings were average. Knob on stove was missing. Pots and pans needed to be replaced. We ran out of toilet paper on the third day of week stay. Pool area needed to be cleaned up. AC on 2nd floor worked but did not cool the bedrooms as it should. No one called to check on us or ask if we needed anything. The house is in an okay neighborhood. Did not like being next to RV camp - too many people on the beach.

Easy to work with and answered our questions quickly and corrected issues promptly.

Great house and location. Would definitely stay here again! Plenty of room for our family of 12. Kitchen is well stocked, but could use an electric can opener, pot holders, more dish towels/rags and a pair of scissors. When we arrived, there was only 1 skillet, but we asked for another and a brand new one was quickly delivered. Outdoor grill was in pretty sad shape and we decided not to use it. Also needs to be a curtain or blinds over dining room doors since the evening sun shines right in. It was obvious from the tape remains that many people hung something there to help block it. We used a large beach towel. Also, it was stated in our check-in details that there would be 2 rolls of toilet paper in each bath, but there was only one per bathroom. All my complaints are small and I feel confident that the management company would have corrected them if I would have asked. Easy, quick access to the beach. There was plenty of room to socially distance on the private beach. And it was nice to have 4 chairs and 2 umbrellas included. Definitely recommend this place!

We were given the wrong code to get into the house upon our arrival. It was very cumbersome to try and get a hold of someone in a timely fashion at our first arrival.

This was our second year to rent a house in Blue Mountain Beach through Five Star/Bliss. We like the area and have had good luck renting through this company. The house was spacious, well laid out and clean. We had everything we needed and more. The reservation process and getting questions answered was easy.

We enjoyed our stay. The pool was nice but not very clean. That is the only negative thing I can say. Five Star came right out to let us in when the battery went dead on our keyless entry box. We would stay here again !

This is our 5th trip to book with Five Star Properties and, as always, we had a great vacation in a great rental.The management team was quick to send someone out when we did have a minor problem and it was resolved within a short period of time. Thanks for providing great service!

Very nice house. Lots of room. Very clean. 1st class. Pool was nice, lots of TV's. Only negative I can think of, would have been nice to have an elevator for 3rd floor. ST

The service provided by Five Star Properties and Bliss Beach Rentals is second to non! The property was fabulous and ready for our arrival. Excellent property with excellent amenities.

Dirty/Nasty Condo. Five Star was easy to deal with. The problem we had was that the condo we rented was nasty. So whoever they had cleaning - did not clean the condo. There was empty water bottles and shopping bags under the bed and tubs were not clean at all. And we were charged a $380 cleaning fee. We DID NOT get a clean condo when we checked in.

The home looked exactly like the pictures. It was beautiful! It was very clean. The linens and towels were clean and soft. We loved all of the kitchen amenities, bikes and the golf cart made our trip fantastic. We will definitely rent again

Everything was great!

The property found for our last minute Vacation was even better than our original plan. We highly recommended the Toes in the Sand property. The beach is your backyard. It was perfect for the 6 kids and 6 adults.
