We have already had our front bay windows re-done; this decided us to go further with others. We were very happy with your representative who visited, and we were happy enough to agree to go ahead with the further work.

Had a great conversation with the original visit. All options were explored and an acceptable solution was chosen. Shortly afterwards received a call to book the technical survey and then the install. The survey was quick, professional and detailed. The install was amazing. 2 fitters arrived at the time they were supposed to, conducted a quick inspection then cracked on with the install. Install complete and the fitters cleaned up after themselves, demonstrated window operation and ensured I was fully happy. I was so impressed I actually ordered a further install and received the same level of service. I’d highly recommend.

Fantastic service from sales to installation.

Fantastic service from sales to survey and installation. Couldn't be happier with the results - exactly what we hoped for for our home. Two new doors and three windows perfectly fitted. Elevating the look and feel of our home as part of updating and replacing very old ones.

Installed in a quick and timely manner

Installed in a quick and timely manner, all installed in expected timeframe given, Alison Fuller & Tristian Cox were very polite and friendly, great with the kids, very tidy and cleaned up all rubbish after job was completed. Overall fantastic work and also being a landlord, peace of mind as well.

From the beginning of the sales process…

From the beginning of the sales process to the windows being fitted the experience has been outstanding. I've read a few negative experiences from people but thankfully I have not had that experience. The window fitters were very tidy, cleaned up after themselves. And the fitting was very professional.

I just het phone call from 1st home…

I just get phone call from 1st home improvements when they asked if im okay. I said no because im waiting for phone call when they come to fix all things. And when i start say about problem then she huged up with me. Phone call ended 2min ago UPDATE 10.05 1. And whats about birds net under the roof whats wasnt puted on under roof? Because roof wasn't lifted up at all. Only fitters throwed all old stuff in garden and me with wife later was walking to pick up all rusty nails from grass and timber chips. My wife should have all pictures as well if she didn’t deleted. 2. And door to utilty room still trim coming off and fitter did before put double side stick tape and trim still coming off. What about that????? You think i will accept another double side stick tape to glue trim back again? All this information i told months ago on previus phone call. All what you care is just to beg for good review and take money thats all.

Top quality windows and installation

Kieron and Archie were very thorough, did a great job and took great care installing our front room window and patio door. We needed lintels installed before hand and the builders sid a quality job kn the days befores before. Sales team and surveyor were really helpful and informative and kept in touch every step of the way. Really happy with the quality and look of the new windows as ours really needed replacing!

Tried to scam us out of £20,000

Wife and I hade a sales rep from First Home Improvements come over and give us a quote for 10 windows and a door. It took about an hour and a half to two hours. Long story short sales rep quoted us on her 1st Home online window calculator at over £28,000! She then tells us we can get a discount if we “advertise” for the company by putting a First Home Improvements sign in our front garden for four weeks at a discount of £1500 a week. So £6000 off to a total of about £22000, but the offer to advertise is only good for today. After we told her we will have to discuss this and get back to her tomorrow she tried to stay longer by calling her manager to get a bigger discount, asked to use the restroom and so on. The next day her manager calls and says he can do a special discount if we advertise for them for 8 weeks but because he is giving me such a great deal I can’t tell anyone the price of the windows. He said he is willing to charge us only £8470 roughly for all the windows. I searched online for the average cost for new windows in our area, average price is between £5500 and £7500 for 10 windows. Just for the dishonesty and the manipulation I would never recommend First Home Improvements to anyone.

We have today had our windows replaced…

We have today had our windows replaced by Charlie & Dave of First Home Improvements. I cannot commend the quality of the product more highly. Charlie & Dave worked tirelessly from the minute they arrived and we are very happy with their workmanship, cleaning up thoroughly and very polite. The whole experience has been exceptional. Keep doing what you do.

Great quality, professional installation

I had a door and side panel replaced and I'm really pleased with the final product. There were enough options to get the look I wanted that matched the rest of the house. The door is composite and feels solid and secure. The installation team were fantastic: professional, friendly, got on with the job, checked the door closure to make sure it fitted and closed perfectly, and left everything clean and tidy. I never thought something as simple as a new door could make such a difference, but several weeks after installation and I still get a smile on my face as I approach the house. Thank you to all involved.

Disappointed by Sales Tactics – A Long-Winded, Pushy Experience

I gave First Home Improvements the benefit of the doubt and invited them in for a quote, but I really regret it. What should have been a simple consultation to measure up two windows and two doors turned into a nearly 2-hour sales pitch filled with flattery, exaggerated claims, and pressure. The salesperson spent a significant amount of time talking about the company’s history rather than getting to the point. He delayed measuring up for almost two hours, repeatedly made calls to his manager to “unlock” sudden discounts, and tried to build urgency by claiming we were the last of 10 homes eligible for a special deal — a tactic that felt both insincere and rehearsed. He claimed they had exclusive A* rated windows, which sounded impressive until I pointed out that A* isn’t a recognised industry rating. Even more ironic, the “unique” window he showed me was the exact same product another company had shown me weeks earlier. I explained multiple times that I needed time to think — we have a baby on the way, and it’s a significant expense — but he continued to push for a decision there and then. Frankly, if he had simply measured up, been transparent about pricing, and given me a clear quote, I might have gone ahead. But the hard-sell tactics, manufactured urgency, and dubious claims completely put me off.
