Used Enact to remortgage. Pretty smooth process, kept informed throughout. Got a response via the messaging option when needed and got through on the phone every time I called. Would use Enact again.

Enact are both professional and a quality service. I would recommend them to anyone. They were always helpful, answered queries fast but very little queries as they gave full explanations and examples of what needed to be done. Friendly and helpful service

Wonderful and Stress free experience from Start to finish. Had continual updates throughout the journey that kept me well informed Of procedures and what required my attention to facilitate the relatively stress free experience to the end. Remortgage application which was late

My recent re-mortgage experience with Enact was not very good. Through the whole process I has informed them that my current mortgage product would expire by end of July and that they need to be in time to complete. Through the process I was given the impression that there was loads of time and there wont be any issues to complete. Closer to the completion date they seemed to have gotten the completion statement incorrect and requested the wrong figure for completion. This along with other bits and pieces created a lot of last minute confusion and it extended the time required to complete. In the end I ended up going on SVR at nearly 10% interest rate and paid an extra nearly £500-£1000 in interest due to the same. I wont recommend using this company again for future re-mortgage applications.

Unresponsive

Enact called me a week ago advising that they weren’t getting a response to their request for a redemption statement and asked me to contact my current lender. I did so and they advised that Enact continuously provided the wrong reference. They provided the reference in question and assured me that if Enact issued the request with the correct number they would provide this the same day. I passed this back to Enact who still haven’t dealt with this. They responded to an email stating they’d contact me when resolved. No reply to follow up emails. I tried calling this morning but it rings out. I guess I’m going to have to pay a substantial increased mortgage because there’s no way they are going to complete on time. I’d recommend avoiding this company.
