Overall good service
Used Enact to remortgage. Pretty smooth process, kept informed throughout. Got a response via the messaging option when needed and got through on the phone every time I called. Would use Enact again.

From start to finish the process felt like the speed of an express train with no stress. The online tracker is a great touch and I've never had that with other mortgaging solicitors. I will definitely be using Enact again the next time around.

Very slow totally drained us. We start contacting Enact since 23 May. Since that we have been passed to 4 case handler. No guidance or info for their intruduction to their system. You just have to figure it out, if you are not very good on their communication platform that it! We lost 4 weeks waiting for any instructions. Until now we are still waitng for completion date. It should have been very easy straight forward. We sell & we purchase. We used Enact to expect to make it easy for them to handle both. But this did not happen. When I request for call back it took ages for them to response from their call requst and messaging system. Calling them always voicemail. If you manage to get hold of one of them they told me off!!!! they told me that they are busy and should just wait for them to reply, and told me that I am not the only one of their client as they have too many clients. I don't understand? why complain to me how busy they are and I jsut wait for long as they always do to let you wait. 1 of them only work 3 days a week, so if you missed that, whait for the following week again. I hired them to do my legal documentaion for selling & purchasing property. I do have my right to know what is going on and I will appreciate an update. Why telling me off for calling them up to chase for information? Is this correct practice to say things like that to their client? We have another conveyancing case that need a service, But we will never go back to them ever again. Very dissapointing, I use them before and it was good. After 3 years their service change very poorly.

Very disappointed about how my case has been handled. For the last seven days no response where as I have been told my case is urgent and I will lose a huge amount of money if this is not going to be completed early.

This company actively slow dow the process to meet their 4-6 week completion time. My remortgage could have completed last week as everything is ready except for Enact! I have no idea when it will complete because you are not dealing with people just a deliberately slow process. Enact were appointed by the mortgage company so I had no choice. If you can avoid them!

M first hand experience with enact conveyancers has been a very pleasurable experience. The whole process of my remortgage was seamless with their online portal you were able to track the progress of your case. If for any reason you didn't understand or wanted to ask specific questions you could pick up the phone where one the advisors was there to help answer any of your queries. All in all a very professionally run business where you were put first.

Unfortunately I have to put 1 star, the hell and stress this company has put me through they don't deserve the 1. This was not my choice to use this inept company, it was the Halifax. They have lost sign paperwork, again and again and again, even losing the paperwork from the solicitors and court, which they managed to find after my solicitor called them, and they had, had for 8days.I called virtually everyday, and everyday was a different story and different problem. I ask to speak to my case worker, to be told she would call back later, never did. The Portal never worked, as they couldn't verify my email address. I was on a court deadline, that could not be moved, and they could not have given a monkeys about how urgent this was. And to top everything else off they charged me Β£300 for the pleasure of using them, when I had, had no choice over it. If you have the unfortunately pleasure of having to use this company, run for the hills!!!!
