Overall good service
Used Enact to remortgage. Pretty smooth process, kept informed throughout. Got a response via the messaging option when needed and got through on the phone every time I called. Would use Enact again.

High volume conveyancing, the minute something is not as expected it falls apart. Case handlers follow a procedure that just doesn’t handle unexpected issues. Largely unresponsive, my case handler rarely available but experienced in having to having to apologise. Title deed department have been obstructive after questions raised about their decisions. Use them if your lender is paying, though really you are anyway. Poor choice if you want a personal experience.

Superb and professional service from start to finish. Team always on hand to deal with any queries and hugely proactive throughout the process. All the services were intuitive and user-friendly. Enact are currently dealing with my re-mortgage. i signed up to their portal and completed the first couple of steps online no issues. They then told me I would receive a link to sign a mortgage deed, which I never received. They then told me that they had removed this option digitally and I would have to do it by post. When it arrived in the post it was absolutely littered with errors (incorrect names etc). I called them to be advised they would have to correct this and send me new documents, fast forward one day, they are calling me again accusing me of not returning documents. I do not think this company actually speak to each other, otherwise they would know its me waiting yet again for them to take action. Frustrated is putting it politely!

We are porting a portion of our life time mortgage with Pure Retirement, to a new build property and Enact are the conveyancing firm for Pure Retirement. We have found Enact incredibly and far too slow, causing us who are pensioners a lot of stress as we may loose our house if we don't complete by 30/9 and if this happens it will be solely down to Enact, not our solicitor.
