Enact called me a week ago advising that they weren’t getting a response to their request for a redemption statement and asked me to contact my current lender. I did so and they advised that Enact continuously provided the wrong reference. They provided the reference in question and assured me that if Enact issued the request with the correct number they would provide this the same day. I passed this back to Enact who still haven’t dealt with this. They responded to an email stating they’d contact me when resolved. No reply to follow up emails. I tried calling this morning but it rings out. I guess I’m going to have to pay a substantial increased mortgage because there’s no way they are going to complete on time. I’d recommend avoiding this company.
