Straight forward for small manufacturing

Since the beginning of the business

Since the beginning of the business, we used Excel sheets to manage finances, stock, etc. Now, our purchase orders, inventory, and accounting sync automatically, saving us a ton of time. I particularly value how the main analytics screen provides immediate business intelligence without needing to generate individual reports. The manual work was becoming overwhelming, the efficiency gains have allowed me to dedicate more attention to expanding our customer base.

"I run an electronics repair shop and needed a way to track repairs, parts, and billing. They make it easier to monitor each repair job throughout the process. The customer database helps with recalling details from previous repairs, and the invoicing payment processor integration could be a bit better, but overall it works very well for us. I run an electronics repair shop y. Deskera made it easier to keep tabs on customer records and parts inventory. We use the invoicing tools daily. They're simple and efficient. While there’s no built-in repair tracking, we've created a process using the project and CRM tools. The payment integration works, though it could be smoother. All in all, it’s helped us get more organized.

Works well for food distribution

We've been using Deskera for about 7 months in our food distribution business. The transition wasn't easy, I had to adjust how we track perishable inventory and train staff on new processes. It's not specifically designed for food, but we've made it work for our needs. The batch tracking is adequate, though better expiration date features would help. The connection between inventory and accounting has eliminated most of our end-of-month reconciliation headaches. With real time inventory visibility, we’ve been able to streamline the process using the inventory and order tracking features. Our drivers use the mobile app to check stock levels while in the field, which saves time. We do experience occasional server issues, and I wish the reports were more customizable, but the reduction in paperwork has been worth it.

After trying several apps for our printing business, we settled. The interface is straightforward and makes sense for our workflow. Creating quotes and converting them to invoices is much faster than our old system. Our team adapted to it quickly, which wasn't the case with previous software we've tried.

Good all-in-one solution for small manufacturing.

About 8 months ago, we started using Deskera to bring some order to our growing manufacturing operations. Before that, we were struggling with inventory in Excel and using a separate tool for accounting, it was messy and time-consuming. With Deskera things are seamless and everything works together. Inventory movements update accounting automatically, so we’re not spending hours reconciling things manually anymore. We can track raw materials and finished goods through production without needing multiple spreadsheets. The real-time data has been a huge plus. I can quickly check stock levels, pending orders, or accounts. Reports are clear and give me the numbers I need to make decisions without pulling data from five places. There have been minor bugs here and there after updates, and I’d love a bit more flexibility in custom reporting. But overall, Deskera has helped us cut admin time and focus more on running the business, not chasing down information.

There is absolutely no support and missing basic features

There is absolutely no support. I have emailed numerous times asking the same questions but am yet to receive a response or even acknowledgement. I also find that there are many basic features missing (or so well hidden I can't find them). Oh yes, you can't actually search the FAQ/Help documents! Click the 'help button' inside the app and you are asked: Have you joined the community? Don't waste your time - the 'community' is a ghost town.

Worst Service - No response from CEO as well

They do not have the basic features of copy pasting multiple email id's. Its missing common sense. For the small software issues they say that they will report to their dev teams and nothing happens from there... not a trustworthy software. Have escalated to a board member and ceo, they don't even respond. Pathetic service!!

Despairing, can't file my taxes, incomplete reports

I'm in complete despair. Need to file my tax return but it is impossible to get any sense out of the reports. Even simple ones like profit and loss statement do not add up. I have also had to spend an entire week manually correcting the exchange rates of every single entry in the past year as they were not updated automatically. The invoices still show different amounts even after changing the exchange rate on them. Massive amounts accounted for as 'rounding difference' - turns out these are VAT reverse charges that the software has booked into this account. I am so upset and urgently need to figure this out but past issues have not been resolved in months, so am not very hopeful that any support will be extended to me.

Not suited for International market and rubbish customer sevices

Honestly the clunkiest software - not suited for international markets, with non-existent support and pathetic customer service. Maybe I'll try again in a few years when they get themselves sorted.

Their system is billing my clients on…

Their system is billing my clients on the wrong dates and with the wrong due dates. It will do the same next month. And there is no way to change or edit this. Because once an invoice has been closed, archived, or fulfilled, nothing can be edited anymore. And it's not possible to specify a due date for recurring invoices. It also sends out automatic emails to my clients without populating the merge tags. And the late payment reminders I have configured don't send at all. You'd think that these would be urgent issues to fix now that I have highlighted them multiple times but it has been weeks without any update. Needless to say that this is making a very bad impression on my clients. Update: 3 months after reporting these issues and they are still not fixed. My customers are complaining. It's just ridiculous.

These guys are just ridiculous !!!

These guys are just ridiculous !!!! We have purchased our lifetime deal on AppSumo, which includes "all future updates to their professional plan." All modules - Books, People, CRM, etc. They created CRM + and still claimed that it was not an upgrade or update of the current CRM module. They are just trying to pull us out that it's a new product. The best part is that they promised to include exactly this module if we met some requirements, such as joining their FB group, which we did. Now, after almost a year, they are coming up with new requirements, such as publishing a review on Capterra or subscribing to YouTube channels and joining their webinars. what do they want next? Not to mention the tool itself is buggy. They don't care much about their early adopters who supported them when they started. Such a shame!

Think twice before starting a free…

Think twice before starting a free trial with this company. I was interested in Deskera’s features, so I signed up for the trial and entered my credit card info. After a few hours of use, I was clear it was not a platform I wanted to use. I went through a cancellation process, but must have failed to complete it because two weeks later a credit card charge showed up. I emailed back and forth with their support 6 or 7 times to finally receive the answer that they just want to keep my money since I failed to cancel before the two weeks. Well, I don’t understand why a company that wants to provide a functional service would want to keep the money of someone who does not want to use the service, based on a technicality. But they do. So, make sure you get a cancellation email or something if you try and cancel. Otherwise, they are not going to be interested in refunding you whether you like, or use, their service. They are just excited about the $149 they get to keep.

Worldwide!

I am delighted with everything. Deskera solves almost all of my tasks in one place. And it makes it possible to use those functions for which I would not pay separately. It takes literally a few months for the development team to make this nearly perfect. It's fantastically comfortable and fresh. This is a new generation. This team will bring a new approach to business to this market and take a place in the leaders. In addition to the product itself and its concept, I am delighted with the Deskera team. I see their attitude to what they are doing! I know about it! I burn with them!

Amazing product

I just signed up for this service yesterday so I am not a power user yet. I am also based in Germany and Deskera books are planning on German compliance in the first quarter of next year. So I am investing in faith that this will be perfect for our business in the future. As I am not yet a power user, there are things I can not comment on. However, I have familiarized myself with the service on my desktop and I have downloaded the app on my phone. So far, I am very impressed, already in the registering process, I could feel that this is a stable product. The UI is great and easy to understand, their onboarding process is also on point. The app also runs very smoothly on my Pixel 3, a 2.5-year-old phone. The three pillars of Deskera: Books, CRM, and People in their own dashboard, to properly separate each section to not overwhelm you. They can also be accessed through their own subdomain, for example books.deskera.com. I have also been welcomed by Deskeras thriving community, and I am impressed. The questions I have asked have been answered in less than 10 minutes and you constantly see their community manager(s) interacting with the community, calling in the appropriate Deskera employee when a harder question needs to be answered. One thing which I didn't know about before I joined their community and which instantly made me excited is that Deskera has launched an app store and has released a public API for anyone to write apps. Their own integrations, such as WooCommerce and PayPal are released on this app store. Just to give you an idea of how flexible this API is. As my business future drop shipping partner: ShirtKing, also has an API, I am already thinking of ways that I can utilize this future. They are having a hackathon competition in the coming weeks for anyone to join, not only Deskera users but public users as well. I can only assume that good things will come out of this and that there will be many great apps to use in the future. I just want to say, I love that they have this feature, other services, take notes! It is clear that Deskera has been around for a while and that they do in fact know what they are doing. Their future set is massive, and it has so far _not_ given me any indications to be poorly implemented.

Love that it has multiple functions

Saves tremendous human efforts and book-keeping is also easy. Has allowed me to do the accounting, take care of the team, manage employee leaves, keep track of deals, resource management and whatnot, that too all so very efficiently. Plus the dashboard also allows me to switch between tabs and work on different things all at once, this is really time saving.
