Works well for food distribution
We've been using Deskera for about 7 months in our food distribution business. The transition wasn't easy, I had to adjust how we track perishable inventory and train staff on new processes. It's not specifically designed for food, but we've made it work for our needs. The batch tracking is adequate, though better expiration date features would help. The connection between inventory and accounting has eliminated most of our end-of-month reconciliation headaches. With real time inventory visibility, we’ve been able to streamline the process using the inventory and order tracking features. Our drivers use the mobile app to check stock levels while in the field, which saves time. We do experience occasional server issues, and I wish the reports were more customizable, but the reduction in paperwork has been worth it.
