Terrible service for so many orders now,
I’m finally giving a review! I’m deleting the app so that I don’t inadvertently use them again.
They are liars, cons, and hustlers.
One of the times we ordered, we waited for over an hour to call in and check the order status (we live in a city where you can get from one side of town to the next in 15 mins). They checked on driver status and could not locate him. He was in the wind with the food and they never found him that night (his way of quitting?) The company rep. was matter of fact and indifferent and refunded
out money, but that was all.
Last night, our order was in the wind for 1’hour and we saw the driver made it as close as 3 blocks from our house.... then he switched directions and went back across town where he sat for 20 minutes in a parking lot. The order then switched to delivered, 1 hour and 25 minutes after the order.
I called the rep.’and he claimed he went to the restaurant and ‘some of the items were unavailable’ so he ‘left without any of the order’. But he chose not to call us or have the company call us? No question he ate the food at the lot.
As before, customer service was nice but indifferent and said we would be credited back our charge..... no offer of delivery credit for our inconvenience or the fact we had to order all over 1 1/2 hour after the first.
I’m a police officer of 31 years and am not writing this to be vindictive or false in these complaints. I won’t use them again..... very sketchy. We use doordash and they are awesome and never a Problem with customer service who actually make things right.
I am only writing this as a service to others to warn of these bad practices.
