I was purchasing a house and was on a tight deadline for when I needed to move in. All of my friends told me that based on their own experiences there was no way. But Caitlin and DC Law made it happen
The task of moving & all that goes with it is pretty much a roller coaster of emotions and stressful. This is only made easier by having a Conveyancer like Christopher Stones who is professional & on piont with all that's to be dealt with. I highly recommend Christopher & should I ever need a Conveyancer DC law are the only firm i would consider. kind regards & many thanks Peter Morris.
An Excellent experience and Chris is a superb Conveyancer. He will be recommended to my family and friends.

We were selling a rental property we had difficulties with the EWay system which we hated loathed and detested as it was so impersonal. It kept asking for the same documents over and over again eventually a human being Esther explained the problem ,and often spoke to us until we completed. There was a delay caused by the buyers solicitors incompetence which cost us nearly £3000 we did everything right but still had to suffer the loss .

There are much better conveyancing firms out there. Main factors contributing to this review: lack of basic client servicing, non-responsiveness (although not unusual for a conveyancing firm, to be fair), missed completion date without updates, complaints ignored, no advice or explanation when sending e-mails, repeatedly having to provide documents more than once. - A simple, no chain transaction took much longer than necessary. - Had to chase for updates, and all e-mails were direct copy and pastes from the buyer’s solicitors rather than rewriting to explain what is being asked. E-mails usually said ‘Hi, please see below from buyer’s solicitors’. Had to ask for help from a family member who deals with contracts in the end to decode what was being asked. If you are looking for support and advice, look for an alternative firm. - Conveyancer changed at the last minute due to ‘restructuring’. - Sold various add ons, without a full understanding of why, or what they were for. I don’t believe that they are as independent as they like to suggest. - Main contact number tells you to call your conveyancer directly, but conveyancers contact numbers in their signatures are just the area dialing code. It’s almost like they are purposefully hiding their contact numbers. - Missed completion once, due to buyer’s solicitors, but I did not receive any updates. It was only after the weekend and the conveyancer returned from annual leave, after requesting an update, that I got a brief sentence or two telling me it hadn’t happened. - On completion day, I was only aware that it had been successful after the funds landed in my account - updates from the conveyancers were non-existent. My estate agent had to get involved to keep the conveyancer moving. - Conveyancers and their assistants would disappear out-of-office with no alternative contact provided, and no forewarning. - Complaint sent to the main contact e-mail was ignored, and no response received. I am glad that this transaction is over, and lesson learnt, not to go with a conveyancing firm that the estate agent suggested.

I recently had the pleasure of working with Gemma Jones from DC Law Solicitors in St. Ives for the conveyancing of the sale of my flat, and I cannot recommend her highly enough. From start to finish, Gemma was an absolute professional, handling every aspect of the process with exceptional competence and care. What stood out most was Gemma's excellent communication skills. Whether by phone or email, she was always prompt, clear, and thorough, ensuring that I was kept fully informed at every stage of the process. This level of communication made the entire experience alleviated some stress, as I always felt reassured that everything was in good hands. Despite some challenges posed by a less-than-efficient estate agent, Gemma’s proactive approach and dedication ensured that the sale remained on track. She expertly guided me through the process, always staying within the boundaries of her conveyancing role while providing invaluable advice and support. I would not hesitate to use DC Law Solicitors again, especially Gemma Jones, who made what could have been a complicated and stressful experience into one that was smooth and manageable. The service provided was not only top-notch but also represented excellent value for money. I am incredibly grateful for Gemma’s hard work and professionalism, and I highly recommend her to anyone in need of conveyancing services.

Okay so we were first time buyers, it was a long process as the deposit money was coming from the sale of the house I was currently living in. We had Kirsty dealing with our purchase, Kirsty was very friendly, polite and very helpful, there was some very frustrating times due to the estates Solicitors but Kirsty stayed with it and we got there in the end. It was affordable! Easy to use there online web site/portal, I will be using in the future
