Speedy Purchase
I was purchasing a house and was on a tight deadline for when I needed to move in. All of my friends told me that based on their own experiences there was no way. But Caitlin and DC Law made it happen
A Conveyancer you can trust
The task of moving & all that goes with it is pretty much a roller coaster of emotions and stressful.This is only made easier by having a Conveyancer like Christopher Stones who is professional & on piont with all that's to be dealt with. I highly recommend Christopher & should I ever need a Conveyancer DC law are the only firm i would consider. kind regards & many thanks Peter Morris.

We used DC LAW and were assigned Esther Reid as our conveyancing agent. Throughout the whole process Esther was superb, very patient and professional in dealing with a "challenging" sale (for us anyway!) She took the time and effort to explain anything we didn't understand and made every step easy as we progressed with her guidance. I have no hesitation in recommending DC LAW and Esther is a real credit to this company Thank you!

This is an interesting one
This is an interesting one. On one hand, we completed in under three months (which having moved from Australia, I now understand is quite quick for the UK - in Australia, that is going at a snail's pace) so I am happy with that. On the other hand, easily the most frustrating thing of all, was the constant texts saying, "You have * outstanding tasks on your eWay file...", these were infuriating. In my opinion, an outstanding task is something you've left for a while and forgotten about. To DC Law, this is a task that has literally just been loaded onto the system that needs URGENT attention. Then I would find myself rushing to get the information across and then, nothing. No thank you, no communication, nothing, just a tick on the stupid wheel thing with colours showing how far you've got. Can I recommend this, please use the phrase, "Hello! We have just sent you some documents to review and action at your earliest convenience. Thank you." Yes, this is more wordy but takes the stress out of it. Another negative thing was the incredible length of time to carry out "searches" - I still have no idea what they are. Lastly, our assigned solicitor was almost impossible to reach. For the first 8 weeks I thought she was an AI robot. Thankfully she wasn't. Three stars is kind of generous but I think this is, on the fact we completed in good time, fair. However, next time, we will be using a local conveyancer.

We are very happy with the service provided by DC Law for the sale of our house and purchase of a retirement flat. Esme Hibble was very helpful and approachable to our daughter as well as to us. Everything was made clear to us and we have no hesitation in recommending DC Law and Esme.

Esme Hible
My case was the purchase of a retirement flat and my handler was Esme Hible, and generally I was quite happy with the result as completion was on schedule and I didn't develop too many more grey hairs as a result of the process. I chose DC Law as a 'budget friendlier' option and I was aware that the service might not include the sort of full on attention I might desire. Yes, there were occasions when I wanted to speak to Esme about my case and could not get through. Yes, I did have a feeling that a very large number of plates were being kept spinning. Yes, I would have liked perfection, but I wasn't paying for that, sadly. Overall, Esme was fully engaged with my case whenever I spoke to her and as far as I could tell any delays in the whole thing were caused by the seller's solicitors. Esme was clearly doing her best with a high workload.
