Speedy Purchase
I was purchasing a house and was on a tight deadline for when I needed to move in. All of my friends told me that based on their own experiences there was no way. But Caitlin and DC Law made it happen
A Conveyancer you can trust
The task of moving & all that goes with it is pretty much a roller coaster of emotions and stressful.This is only made easier by having a Conveyancer like Christopher Stones who is professional & on piont with all that's to be dealt with. On line Service. Of a certain age, I found the EWay / Porthole a struggle. It was frustrating at times, and I felt inadequate. Plus, the death of my son also impacted on me functioning properly. DC LAW/Megan Koxha and her team was very patient and sympathetic when I disclosed what was happening. The one to one conversation and a different ways of sending the relevant information was extreemly helpful. I am happy that my needs were met. And, the outcome is positive. Thank you.

Absolutely brilliant!!
Absolutely brilliant!!! I unfortunately was advised to switch conveyors from my estate agent which I thought would bring a quicker sale. I can honestly say by comparison DC Law were better communicators, has an easier website interaction and when prompted with advice were quick to respond all the time. Even though I was not with DC Law I had received my contract of sale etc (a mix up with my estate agents not updating me switching conveyors) I could have signed my contract and sent back all paper work, however I am still waiting for my switch conveyors to even contact me. I feel if you want the best service possible then go with DC Law I doubt you would be disappointed.

Misleading Fixed Fee Policy
I approached DC Law for Conveyancing Services because their website advertised a Fixed Fee Policyβ"Our fees wonβt change unless your instructions do." That sounded reassuring, especially after having been stung by hidden charges in past transactions. However, after several emails trying to clarify what this meant in practice, it became obvious that the "fixed fee" only applies to a small part of the overall cost (the basic legal fee). In reality, they reserve the right to add numerous additional fees, regardless of whether your instructions change or not. When I offered to provide full details of the transaction upfront to lock in a fee, they refused. This is not a true fixed feeβit's a standard estimate with the usual vague disclaimers and hidden extras. The way they present it is, in my opinion, misleading. If you're looking for genuine clarity and transparency in pricing, Iβd suggest looking elsewhere.

AVOID AT ALL COSTS
Our experience with DC Law has, to put it mildly, fallen significantly short of expectations. The level of service provided has been characterised by a concerning lack of consistent and effective communication. Initially, our case was assigned to Abigail. Regrettably, despite numerous attempts to make contact via phone, voicemail, and email over several weeks, we received no response whatsoever. This initial silence created considerable and avoidable delays. One is left to wonder about the actual existence or availability of our assigned contact during this period. Subsequently, Tawana took over our case, and to her credit, the situation did improve. We began to see some progress, which was a welcome change. However, this improvement proved to be short-lived. Without any apparent justification, our case has now been transferred to yet another handler. This individual, unfortunately, appears to possess a similar level of understanding regarding our case's progress as we do ourselves β which is to say, very little. This lack of continuity and the apparent absence of a clear handover process are deeply troubling. The cumulative effect of these issues β the prolonged initial silence, the subsequent but ultimately interrupted progress, and the latest reassignment to an uninformed handler β has resulted in a complete stagnation of our sale/purchase. This has naturally led to considerable frustration and a diminished confidence in DC Law's ability to manage this transaction competently. For those contemplating engaging DC Law for a smooth and stress-free property transaction, our experience suggests that such an outcome may be... optimistic.
