Lack of Transparency – Two Different Prices for the Same Job
Courier Expert claims to be a transparent company, stating that drivers receive 60% of the amount paid by the customer. But after weeks of testing and cross-checking their system, we can confidently say: this is not true. Before writing this review, we tested the same scenario multiple times over several weeks, and the results were always the same. If you go on their website as a customer and request a quote, you will see one price. But the exact same job appears in the driver app with a lower “customer price,” and drivers are offered 60% based on that reduced figure — not the actual amount charged to the customer. I would attach a screenshot comparison, but unfortunately cannot at the moment. Still, any registered driver can verify this easily. This is not an isolated case or a technical glitch — it’s a consistent pattern. So Courier Expert, how do you explain advertising honesty and transparency while using two different pricing systems?

From the viewpoint of a customer
I’ve just employed the services of Courier Expert for the first time, but before hand, came onto Trustpilot to make sure my money wasn’t just going to disappear. Most of the reviews I was able to find, were from drivers opposed to customers. It seems many drivers aren’t happy about conditions. But from the viewpoint of customer, I can’t fault them. I had a parcel collected from Taplow and delivered to Portsmouth, at very little notice. Upon making payment, I was given the driver’s mobile number, and told ETA’s for both the collection and drop off. Both were executed bang on time, and through the online portal you’re able to track exactly how far away the driver is at all times. Driver was friendly and came exactly to where I asked him to. Highly recommend.

Just Joined
After reading some of the negative reviews. I am somewhat concerned as I have recently joined CE and seem to experience similar situations as the negative reviews. I have only just joined finding most jobs or either for cars or no where near me . I have a large van and it would not be financially viable to bid for the type of work that’s been advertised. Have I done the right thing joining CE .Oh yes I did bid for one job but bizarrely it was not even confirmed by booker so all that effort was for a job that might be available. I am hoping that this is not a Scam

Some drivers sound bitter to the point…
Some drivers sound bitter to the point of stupidity on these reviews . As a driver myself on CE for 4 years I think it's been excellent . Ok I am not looking for a full time wage and nor do CE anywhere promise you that ,for me a steady 2,3,4 jobs a week suits me which more often than not I get . Support staff are first class !!!!!! Jamie ,Olivia naming just a couple but all equally excellent. In four years I've had 1 missed payment due to banking error . . Look it's not full time work but as a driver with 1 ounce of logic and past experience you'd know that . Make it suit you

I came across this company, first they asked money for joining, I was sceptical, thanks to trust pilot. After reading these reviews, hell no will I join this. Dodgy people. Don’t understand why government don’t ban them. Scammers .. 🤬

Rome wasn't built in a day
Despite my initial scepticism, I joined and it seemed like I would never get a job at first, I've now done 7 in less than 2 months(my only real aim is one or two a week). The team are great, as long as you understand what is expected of you, you will make it as a driver. One thing for certain, you can't make this your full time job there simply is not enough work for that, but it's exciting, you may spend a week bored doing nothing that very next day your on a 250 miles road trip to deliver something that will make someone's day. Pay isn't great, and the market is competitive, it depends what you want from it. You definitely won't loose money and you definitely won't be scammed.

Trash company
This company doesn’t even warrant one star. Absolute scum driver - dumped the large package by the garage out of sight of the front door, didn’t bother to ring the bell or even come to the front door. If it had been raining the parcel would have been completely ruined. He was spotted and asked to take the parcel to the front door - like any decent person would do but he refused. He couldn’t be arsed!! Don’t touch this company with a barge-pole!
