AVOID COLLINGWOOD AT ALL COSTS! Take into consideration all negative reviews and don’t overlook it like I did!!! Before purchasing I called them to double check everything and was mislead over the phone, which made me go for the worse option. I misunderstood the fine prints because they were not clearly written, and are also misleading. Not to mention the spelling mistakes over the emails exchanged. I purchased learner insurance for a set amount of months, passed my driving test before the policy ended and they are refusing to refund the money for the months I will not use the learner insurance (which I have no option but to cancel). I’ve lost £160. They are claiming I never spoke to one of their agents which is a lie. Why would I have bought a policy over others without having spoken to anyone? Do not recommend them in the slightest! Go for reputable insurance companies instead, cheap becomes costly and it’s not worth it! Regardless of policy you go for its clear that you will be at loss!

Wilfully sharp business practices around Policy Cancellation. Akin to Gym Cancellation shenanighans. Their reason to exist, is to screw you of a £40 admin fee.... over and above any Insurance revenue made. You have been warned. ***** Adding to the below reply… At 21 days to renewal, as standard practice you seem to wilfully trawl - perhaps exceed customer GDPR fair processing rights - to enquire about test passes - and *demand with threats of debt collection* a £40 cancellation fee for a policy about to expire. **You haven’t even issued renewal paperwork.** I hope you can live with your conscience as this smack of a money shakedown for a policy that was cancelled by the caller in 30 second's. Customer Journey… Pfft.
After wading through endless comparison sites for new driver insurance, frustrated with the limited options available to input my son as an apprentice and dismayed that we had been quoted in excess of £8000 for insurance(!), I was so relieved to have Megan's help at Nubee Insurance. We had previously arranged learner driver insurance with Collingwood and now my son had passed his test, we were introduced to Nubee Insurance. Megan's customer service was second to none! She ascertained what we needed and what was important to us on the policy, then gave us all the information we needed and the quote in a friendly and informative way. We had a lot of questions about the black box element of the insurance and Megan explained it all so clearly. What a breath of fresh air to find a company that has people you can actually call on the phone and speak with instead of chat bots and emails. The quote itself was far cheaper than most other quotes we've had so far and the human touch will definitely be a deciding factor. Thank you Megan for a 5* service this evening. 🙂⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
