AVOID COLLINGWOOD AT ALL COSTS! Take into consideration all negative reviews and don’t overlook it like I did!!! Before purchasing I called them to double check everything and was mislead over the phone, which made me go for the worse option. I misunderstood the fine prints because they were not clearly written, and are also misleading. Not to mention the spelling mistakes over the emails exchanged. I purchased learner insurance for a set amount of months, passed my driving test before the policy ended and they are refusing to refund the money for the months I will not use the learner insurance (which I have no option but to cancel). I’ve lost £160. They are claiming I never spoke to one of their agents which is a lie. Why would I have bought a policy over others without having spoken to anyone? Do not recommend them in the slightest! Go for reputable insurance companies instead, cheap becomes costly and it’s not worth it! Regardless of policy you go for its clear that you will be at loss!

Bought a learner policy in September for my son - had everything we wanted including have me as an additional driver, at a reasonable price. Obviously the insurance is in my son's name, but they make it easy to add yourself as a third party so that you can deal with the admin (not trusting him with that!) As it happens, only needed it for 3 months, as my son passed first time. So I phoned up to cancel - took ten minutes to get through, but they quickly dealt with the cancellation. They retain quite a lot in fees, but only what I was expecting and she explained it clearly to me. The £65 I was owed went straight back on my credit card. Very easy. The indicative price for a new driver policy with Nubee was not competitive, so have sadly parted ways. No experience of making a claim. But in terms of price, ease of buying the policy and customer service, absolutely no complaints.
From start to finish had appalling customer service from this shockingly amateur insurance provider. They sting you at every opportunity for hidden charges from 17 year old kids. When I raised a complaint they took months to investigate it, ironically finding it in our favour, then offering a paltry £25 good will gesture, which they made so difficult to redeem it was essentially worthless. AVOID THIS COMPANY.
