I was trying to find a property for my first rental, and moving as far as from the north west to the south coast my experience with Charters, in particular estate agent Lily, made this stress free and easy. I was able to find my perfect first home, highly recommend Charters if you’re looking for a property to rent or buy!!
Was super anxious going into this process, but Holly has been wonderful! She’s attentive and knowledgeable, and has been there for every question I’ve had responding personally and quickly.
We received excellent, attentive and friendly service from the Gosport branch - and good recommendations for possible properties. We were shown around several properties by Maya Jorgensen, who was friendly and kind as well as professional!
It was a pleasure to have Maya helping us with our search for a new home. She was always helpful and engaging, nothing was too much trouble.

I recently had the pleasure of working with the Winchester lettings team at Charters while searching for a rental property. Although I ultimately chose another property elsewhere, I was thoroughly impressed by the proactive and professional service provided by Charters. In particular, Ash, who assisted with viewings, was exceptionally professional, friendly, and courteous. Ash's extensive knowledge of the local Winchester rental market and the options available for investors in rental property was invaluable. Sarah Harman from charters showed me around several properties all over Southampton including ocean village. She was punctual, well presented and friendly, pointing out all the important aspects in great detail, explaining about ground rent, parking spaces and other matters. Being a first time buyer I felt comfortable and confident in her presence. Although I didn’t find my ideal home this time, I’m very happy to charters again, they are an excellent estate agent.

I have been extremely pleased with Charters. I always find selling and buying property a stressful experience but Charters have worked hard as a team to minimise this for me. All the staff have been professional and responsive. Notably, Storme who did the valuation of my property and promised to ensure only appropriate viewings occurred to avoid unnecessary disruption to me, (the third viewer bought my property); Jonathan who managed the negotiations brilliantly and last but not least, Jo Goddard who took over my file once a buyer was secured. Her diplomacy, patience, efficiency, professional ‘can do’ approach and overall performance was superb. THANK YOU to all the team who have contributed to a successful conclusion to my sale. I would definitely use Charters again in the future.
