Horrible experience

Horrible experience. The only way to get there from Madrid airport is with a shuttle( badly organized) and once we got there we had to wait hours in the sun in the queue.

una stella perchè meno non si può. sono imbarazzanti, servizio clienti ridicolo. Effettuato prenotazione online pagamento andato a buon fine ma la prenotazione no, quindi mi trovo ad aver pagato ma no ho nessun numero di prenotazione in mano. per fare reclamo devi compilare un form dove il numero di prenotazione è obbligatorio. ho doovuto contestare il pagamento al servizio clienti della mia carta di credito. Evitate questa società come la peste.

Finger weg

Finger weg! Bei Abholung des Autos war viel los und die Mitarbeiter dementsprechend kurz angebunden und unfreundlich. Von anderen Autovermietungen bin ich es gewohnt, gemeinsam mit einem Mitarbeiter das Auto in Empfang zu nehmen. Inkl. Erklärung und evtl. Dokumentation von bereits erfolgten Schäden. Ich bekam lediglich den Schlüssel auf den Tresen geknallt und musste das Auto selbst suchen. Bei der Abgabe dann die Abzocke: Mir wurde ein Schaden abgedichtet, den ich nicht verursacht habe. Und da ich leider keine Beweisfotos gemacht habe, wurden 270€ einbehalten. Das Personal, ebenfalls wieder kurz angebunden und unfreundlich, lies sich auf keine Diskussion ein. Nicht einmal ein Schadensbericht wurde mir ausgestellt. Nun hoffe ich auf Check24 und den Premiumschutz, um die Kosten zurück zu erhalten. Wie bereits in vorherigen Rezensionen geschrieben: Centauro lockt mit günstigen Angeboten und verdient am Ende mit solchen Methoden. Nie wieder Centauro. Einen Stern gibt es lediglich für die Nähe zum Flughafen und den Shuttleservice.

One of the easiest car hire pickups we have experienced. Didn't have to wait and pre-registering was easy and made things very smooth, the car was better than expected and very clean. Would recommend.

Azienda con auto da 136.000 kilometri…

Azienda con auto da 136.000 kilometri tutti con problema...avevo fatto un abbonamento di 12 mesi e in un mese di noleggio mi anno cambiato 3 auto ..tutti una più rotta del altra ..e non solo mi volevano addebitare 370 euro di kilometri.. Auto sporche e con 130.000 kilometri a macchina..e provano anche a truffare.. Vi sconsiglio pienamente noleggiare con questa azienda.

Always use Centauro - very efficient, polite and friendly service, in particular Edwardo upon collection of the vehicle. Always book Centauro through their website to benefit from the full insurance, 1 free additional driver and peace of mind of just handing the keys back at the end, with no quibbles!

Good car, terrible customer experience

It’s a first time I’m giving a negative review for any service and having seen many positive reviews maybe I was unlucky. I had a very unpleasant experience renting from Rome Fumicino branch. I was charged 45 euros for not backfilling fuel tank to the same level even though I did match exact level and put the petrol in just before returning the car. So make sure to take photos of the tank as their data doesn’t match. I returned car later - at the same time I collected it - but it didn’t match the time listed on the booking and was charged 20 euros for additional day. I also had issues with my documents because I just relocated to Italy and didn’t have my fiscal code at hand, I was not made aware it would be needed in the list of documents required for rent in the rental voucher. Also be aware that the company doesn’t accept Revolut debit cards, even though it lists mastercard as acceptable form of payment. In the end they did accept Monzo but at first it also appeared it was a problem. The customer experience was very unpleasant, I rented cars from multiple companies and never had such an experience based on which I will not return and wouldn’t recommend it.
