Good car, terrible customer experience
It’s a first time I’m giving a negative review for any service and having seen many positive reviews maybe I was unlucky. I had a very unpleasant experience renting from Rome Fumicino branch. I was charged 45 euros for not backfilling fuel tank to the same level even though I did match exact level and put the petrol in just before returning the car. So make sure to take photos of the tank as their data doesn’t match. I returned car later - at the same time I collected it - but it didn’t match the time listed on the booking and was charged 20 euros for additional day. I also had issues with my documents because I just relocated to Italy and didn’t have my fiscal code at hand, I was not made aware it would be needed in the list of documents required for rent in the rental voucher. Also be aware that the company doesn’t accept Revolut debit cards, even though it lists mastercard as acceptable form of payment. In the end they did accept Monzo but at first it also appeared it was a problem. The customer experience was very unpleasant, I rented cars from multiple companies and never had such an experience based on which I will not return and wouldn’t recommend it.
