It was very easy to use Centauro, which I and my familiy has done for more than 15 years. During the last two years the service has overall developed and the price for full cover insurance.

Horrible experience. The only way to get there from Madrid airport is with a shuttle( badly organized) and once we got there we had to wait hours in the sun in the queue.
una stella perchè meno non si può. sono imbarazzanti, servizio clienti ridicolo. Effettuato prenotazione online pagamento andato a buon fine ma la prenotazione no, quindi mi trovo ad aver pagato ma no ho nessun numero di prenotazione in mano. per fare reclamo devi compilare un form dove il numero di prenotazione è obbligatorio. ho doovuto contestare il pagamento al servizio clienti della mia carta di credito. Evitate questa società come la peste.
Finger weg! Bei Abholung des Autos war viel los und die Mitarbeiter dementsprechend kurz angebunden und unfreundlich. Von anderen Autovermietungen bin ich es gewohnt, gemeinsam mit einem Mitarbeiter das Auto in Empfang zu nehmen. Inkl. Erklärung und evtl. Dokumentation von bereits erfolgten Schäden. Ich bekam lediglich den Schlüssel auf den Tresen geknallt und musste das Auto selbst suchen. Bei der Abgabe dann die Abzocke: Mir wurde ein Schaden abgedichtet, den ich nicht verursacht habe. Und da ich leider keine Beweisfotos gemacht habe, wurden 270€ einbehalten. Das Personal, ebenfalls wieder kurz angebunden und unfreundlich, lies sich auf keine Diskussion ein. Nicht einmal ein Schadensbericht wurde mir ausgestellt. Nun hoffe ich auf Check24 und den Premiumschutz, um die Kosten zurück zu erhalten. Wie bereits in vorherigen Rezensionen geschrieben: Centauro lockt mit günstigen Angeboten und verdient am Ende mit solchen Methoden. Nie wieder Centauro. Einen Stern gibt es lediglich für die Nähe zum Flughafen und den Shuttleservice.

Truffatori, auto noleggiata il 1 luglio alle 13.30 all’ufficio di Malpensa, prenotata direttamente sul loro sito, pagata 275€ per 3 giorni, la mattina del 2 luglio si rompe e viene portata via con il carroattrezzi, si sono tenuti i 139€ di caparra per il gasolio perché dicono, senza provare nulla, che la macchina sia rientrata con il 10% di carburante. Oltre al danno la beffa. Metterò di mezzo l’avvocato.
I had a thoroughly disappointing and frustrating experience with this car rental company during our family trip in Spain. We had carefully pre-booked a Citroën C3 Electric for July 4–8, as it was suitable for a family of five with luggage. However, upon arrival, we were given a Fiat 500 Electric—a tiny, three-door city car that clearly does not belong to the same rental category, neither in terms of capacity nor safety. It cannot legally or physically accommodate five people with luggage, and it was completely unsuitable for our trip. To make matters worse, around 11 PM, shortly after starting our journey, a warning light for the airbag system appeared—twice—and then remained on, clearly indicating an ongoing safety hazard. I immediately contacted the company, expecting urgent assistance. Shockingly, the company did not respond to the issue until around 7 AM the next morning. Only then did the actual resolution process begin, and it took an additional two hours of calls, explanations, and pressure before they agreed to act. Initially, they insisted that I drive the car back myself, despite the active airbag fault—an extremely reckless and unsafe suggestion. It was only after I asked whether they would assume legal responsibility if something happened, that they finally agreed to send a tow truck for the faulty vehicle and arrange a taxi to take me to Barcelona El Prat, where I could finally pick up a replacement car. This entire ordeal lasted overnight, disrupted our travel plans, and made us feel deeply unsafe and ignored as customers. The warning light remained on the entire time, and the company failed to show any genuine concern until they were directly challenged on liability. The lack of professionalism, disregard for safety, and reluctance to take responsibility until forced to do so is unacceptable. I strongly urge others to avoid this rental company. If you care about safety, reliability, and responsible service, look elsewhere.
haven't picked up the car yet but the online system to check in is rubbish, 6 attempts, and in the end it won't let me put a UK address because I have an italian passport. So far, very frustrating
We hired a car from Murcia airport and returned it to Alicante airport, which was convenient for us. On returning the car to Alicante all was well, we left the car in the designated spot and took the keys to the Centauro kiosk, we handed them in and was told all is good thank you that is all. 2 hours later we noticed that €265 had been fraudulently taken from our account and a few days later we had an invoice stating that along with the €265 they were taking our €70 fuel deposit as well totalling €335. It transpires that the Parcel Shelf for the car was allegedly missing, upon which I asked Centauro for documented proof of the parcel shelf being in the hire car upon receipt of the car and also proof of the parcel shelf missing form the car on returning. Centauro decide not to enter into conversation with you, only directing you to any invoices you may wish to download. Total scamming company
Ojo, con los problemas físicos que le ocurran al coche ajenos a la voluntad del cliente. Digo esto porque el día 17 de Junio durante un momento de lluvia, fui a accionar el limpiaparabrisas trasero y este, al ponerse en moviendo, salto, se partió y se quedó colgando. Pare el coche, lo recogí, guarde las partes en el maletero e inmediatamente di parte a Centauro de lo ocurrido. Una señorita muy amable me dijo que no me preocupara que el coche estaba asegurado y que el fallo era ajeno a mi voluntad. Hoy día 4 de Julio, he dejado el coche en Chamartin lo han revisado, les he contado lo ocurrido y me han dicho que no había problema, que todo ok. Cual es mi sorpresa que de la fianza me han restado 71€ por la rotura del limpia trasero. Me siento engañado, estafado y lo peor de todo, me queda claro que hacer lo que es debido con Centauro, te sale caro. Tened cuidado al darle a cualquier botón del vehículo, os puede salir caro.
Hola ,,, me gustaría que pudieran solucionar un tema que nos a pasado, somos tres personas de gran Canaria y cuando fuimos a recoger el coche un de nosotros tenía el carnet de conducir caducado.he llamado por tfno y han sido muy amables conmigo,, queríamos sustituir un conductor por otro y no lo han podido hacer.Por favor 🙏

I would highly recommend using Centauro for car hire, this was our second rental from them in 2 years of going to alicante, top quality clean/new cars, friendly helpful staff, comprehensive service and fast key allows for 5 min pickup and return. All round great company with great prices. 👍
Always use Centauro and get good service and a nice clean car. Went into Ibiza office this morning to extend the hire and a lovely lady called Anes sorted it with equal measure of professionalism and good humour. Very happy repeating customers of this hire company.
