It was very easy to use Centauro, which I and my familiy has done for more than 15 years. During the last two years the service has overall developed and the price for full cover insurance.

Horrible experience. The only way to get there from Madrid airport is with a shuttle( badly organized) and once we got there we had to wait hours in the sun in the queue.
una stella perchè meno non si può. sono imbarazzanti, servizio clienti ridicolo. Effettuato prenotazione online pagamento andato a buon fine ma la prenotazione no, quindi mi trovo ad aver pagato ma no ho nessun numero di prenotazione in mano. per fare reclamo devi compilare un form dove il numero di prenotazione è obbligatorio. ho doovuto contestare il pagamento al servizio clienti della mia carta di credito. Evitate questa società come la peste.
Finger weg! Bei Abholung des Autos war viel los und die Mitarbeiter dementsprechend kurz angebunden und unfreundlich. Von anderen Autovermietungen bin ich es gewohnt, gemeinsam mit einem Mitarbeiter das Auto in Empfang zu nehmen. Inkl. Erklärung und evtl. Dokumentation von bereits erfolgten Schäden. Ich bekam lediglich den Schlüssel auf den Tresen geknallt und musste das Auto selbst suchen. Bei der Abgabe dann die Abzocke: Mir wurde ein Schaden abgedichtet, den ich nicht verursacht habe. Und da ich leider keine Beweisfotos gemacht habe, wurden 270€ einbehalten. Das Personal, ebenfalls wieder kurz angebunden und unfreundlich, lies sich auf keine Diskussion ein. Nicht einmal ein Schadensbericht wurde mir ausgestellt. Nun hoffe ich auf Check24 und den Premiumschutz, um die Kosten zurück zu erhalten. Wie bereits in vorherigen Rezensionen geschrieben: Centauro lockt mit günstigen Angeboten und verdient am Ende mit solchen Methoden. Nie wieder Centauro. Einen Stern gibt es lediglich für die Nähe zum Flughafen und den Shuttleservice.

I’m a Gold Member. I am trying to book a car in Bergamo Airport Italy. I have a credit of €41 on my account. The price of the car on the app is €287 without my credit coupon. If I log onto their website I can use the credit but the price is €368 with the credit. Why is this the case?
Be careful, hands off! I booked a car at Alicante airport and took pictures from damages of the car before I started. When I returned the car, they accused me to have damaged the car. They charged me with 625€ from my credit card. Two months discussions, no return of my money even after I could proof with my pics that I didn’t damage the car. Now they asked me to complete an insurance formula to get the money back from the car insurance. They force me to commit insurance fraud. No way! It’s their duty to return my money.
Alquiler de coches totalmente recomendable. Alquilamos en el aeropuerto de Alicante, con oficina en la terminal de llegadas, rapidez y vehículo impecable. Precio-calidad si reservas el alquiler premium con seguro incluido y sin depósito muy bien.
Nie otrzymałam samochodu, na lotnisku nikt na mnie nie czekał ani nie odbierano telefon mimo że przy zamawianiu podałam numer lotu i godzinę przylotu. Musiałam zapłacić taksówkę z lotniska do hotelu. Dopiero po 12 godzinach ktoś odebrał telefon i powiedziano mi że rezerwacja przepadła. Z powrotem również musiał zapłacić za taksówkę na lotnisko. Teraz walczę o zwrot pieniędzy i nie mogę odzyskać.
Ci hanno costretto a pagare 311€ in più se volevamo prendere la macchina. Noi avevamo già pagato il noleggio ed una assicurazione Premium. É legale che ti costringano a pagare una copertura loro? È legale che si rifiutino di darti la macchina se non paghi?
I booked via stressfreecarrental.com, which on my behalf was a mistake. However when I arrived at Alicante airport I was able to bypass the broker and deal with centuauro direct. Firstly, the waiting at the desk was nuts. Nearly an hour. I saw in very small writing on the confirmation email that online checking was available but to be honest reminder emails (same as Ryanair) would have been very helpful. I specifically ordered and booked an automatic car. I drive an automatic at home and we also drive on the left so hence my reasons. At check-in I asked that my booking was an automatic and the assistant confirmed this. Now one of my sons has autism and he was very distressed with the heat and waiting. We found our car and it was a manual gearbox. I wanted to go back to the desk but because my son was very upset I just had to keep going. I was also told nothing of the ticket or scanning to exit the car park. We ended up blocking a lane as well as another family also in the same boat. The wiper reservoir was empty and the language settings for the Infotainment was in Czech. The gearbox was horrible. Obviously no one bothers to even check these things on return. I will never again use this company.
The whole process starting from website reservation to car return went nicely and smoothly. Honestly recommend Centauro!
