Terrible experience
When I booked the car with carrentals.co.uk, I was made to believe that full insurance cover was included. When I got to Budget/ Avis Heathrow, I showed them the prepayment voucher, but I was requested to e-sign a credit card authorization form. Subsequently, Budget/ Avis sent me a copy of the e-signed rental agreement showing the inclusion of their complete protection package, unknown additional products and location surcharge totaling GBP251.22 (VAT included). Honestly, they didn't mention these optional extras to me when I e-signed the agreement. Had they informed me the additional cost to be incurred, I wouldn't have signed on the document. I believe it is a complete rip-off and I am going to file a chargeback for the credit card payment.

No hesitation in awarding a 5 star rating
Excellent value for my extended period rental.A plus that Carrentals offered Rental companies with a proven track record,my deal with Hertz was a bonus.I also liked that there is no charges for cancellation up to 48 hours before rental period. Look out for their "Rental Specials" ,even better discounts !!

I was able to book a hire car for 47 days much more cheaply than the original site quoted. A very easy site to use - will not hesitate to use again and to recommed.

Well pleased customer!
Would have given five stars except for the fact that we had to wait in a long queue at Palma airport to enable us to get the paperwork done. This spoilt what was on the whole a good car hire experience , actual car was great, only 7000 klm on the clock from new and without any dents or scratches. Well pleased!
