Great choice of rental cars for every need at a very competitive price. Easy to choose and book online. Cheaper than going directly to the big rental companies with similar cars being supplied. Had taken excess cover and had no pushy salesman from Europcar trying to make me buy it again. Would recommend.

I realised 3 hours before I was due to pick up my hire car that they needed a credit card for a security deposit. I do not have one, I do not want one. Personally I feel they encourage irresponsible spending. I feel I'm being discriminated against because I've made a responsible lifestyle choice. Carrentals would not accept any other form of payment even though I have money available in my debit account. They have taken my money for the booking on my debit card and I have lost nearly £60 which is a lot when you work for minimum wage. This was the first day of my holiday to see friends I haven't seen in a year and I thought it would be great to hire a car instead of using public transport. Big mistake. This was going to be the first time I have hired a car, I will never do it again. I will now fork out another £65 for the train ticket and enjoy reading my book. The staff member was not rude, but couldn't help me. This is a real shame. Kind Regards, Mr J.D.Salisbury
