Tenby, The Clarence Hotel and brilliant weather. Superb!
Our holiday in Tenby at The Clarence Hotel started in Leeds with Alan our coach driver. We could not speak more highly of him - his stamina in driving 8 hours there and the same back plus the trips inbetween, and his wonderful dry sense of humour that lightened every journey. The staff at the Clarence deserve all the wonderful things said about them as do the chefs, but the hotel is tired and needs a good refurbish. Our bathroom floor was cracked, the residents lounge is awful. However, clean towels every day, hot showers, beds made and room tidied go a long way to a comfortable stay. Tenby is a lovely walled seaside town with great beaches and the position of the Clarence above south beach we thought was the best of all.

Brilliant from start to finish
Hi I just wanted to leave some feedback for the mystery tour I went on with my friend on Saturday 12th we were picked up at Gateshead our driver was called Tom. I just what to say what a fabulous time we had from start to finish the places we visited Matlock , Bakewell, Sheffield on the Saturday ( hotel was fantastic) then we went to York on the Sunday so places we visited were excellent for us but can I just say the driver was the icing on the cake he was fabulous went out of his way to help( even lent a power bank when my friend needed it) and communicated throughout the trip so friendly professional and funny so would like it if you could pass on our thanks to him I’m sure it was not just us that thought the same. Will definitely be booking again!!

We had a lovely stay at the Wheatlands…
We had a lovely stay at the Wheatlands lodge hotel York. Room was freshly decorated, spotlessly clean, nicely furnished and very comfortable bed. Food was excellent. The staff were lovely and couldn’t do enough for you. Location was a short walk from centre. Only negative there weren’t any lifts but as this is probably 3 townhouses made into one it wouldn’t be possible. Would highly recommend.
