Tenby, The Clarence Hotel and brilliant weather. Superb!
Our holiday in Tenby at The Clarence Hotel started in Leeds with Alan our coach driver. We could not speak more highly of him - his stamina in driving 8 hours there and the same back plus the trips inbetween, and his wonderful dry sense of humour that lightened every journey. The staff at the Clarence deserve all the wonderful things said about them as do the chefs, but the hotel is tired and needs a good refurbish. Our bathroom floor was cracked, the residents lounge is awful. However, clean towels every day, hot showers, beds made and room tidied go a long way to a comfortable stay. Tenby is a lovely walled seaside town with great beaches and the position of the Clarence above south beach we thought was the best of all.
