I have had an outstanding complaint unresloved since November 2024

I have had an outstanding complaint since November 2024. In the 1 year 1 was issued with two very large bills over 1k each time (I live in a 1 bed apartment and work in the office for reference) so this just did not make sense to me. The issue is still on going, that bill was suppose to be frozen until the issue was resolved but as of last week I am now down 1k as the amount was taken from my bank. I have found it very difficult or at all possible to get updates on this situation from the complaint team. the Customer service operators have tired their best to help but as there is no direct contact to the complaint team this issue is just causing unnecessary stress and anxiety.

Signed up for the home EV charger deal

Signed up for the home EV charger deal. Its written clearly on the advert that installation is included but when I got the quote there was a 500 euro installation charge added. I called up the company and asked what the 500 euro labour cost was for given that installation was included in the deal.I was met with silence and found this advert very misleading and to be false. When sky TV advertise free installation they dont call to your house and set up the sky dish and ask you for 500 euro for labour.Its a very clear and straight forward advert to try and suck you in and grab another 500 euro from you . A complete disgrace to be honest.

Excellent Bord Gais service

Very easy to book the service after receiving a call from Bord Gais that my service was due. Engineer messaged me on the day to say when he would arrive. Arrived right on time, protected the area around the boiler from spills etc, performed the service and gave a thorough run down on how the boiler was. Excellent service.

Worst customer service

Worst customer service. I have paid my bill by card despite the direct debit set up... What a mistake! For a month now, the direct debit is still trying to go through despite despite numerous email to the customer service... Customer service that take between 3-5 days to reply every time and not at all proactive in the response, I suppose the only choice I have is to pay my bill twice.

Stay away to avoid stress and disappointment; the worst company and customer service! They deserve no stars at all. They've been overcharging me for over a year with estimated bills (even though they are legally required to take actual meter reads at least once a year); I don't have access to the meter so couldn't have submit it myself. After I closed the account I have been trying for months to get a refund that I'm due. They said 6 weeks, it's been over 3 months. Customer service are blaming accounts department and the other way round leaving poor clients in limbo. I wish somebody like Consumer Protection Commissioner looked into their practices as their treatment of customers is appalling.

Great experience

Just had Ross out balancing my radiators as it wasn't done when they put the new boiler in. Couldn't get much heat despite new boiler. The first thing he noticed was the boiler was leaking. He was an absolute gem. The guys who put in the boiler were great as well. Absolutely delighted. Well worth getting bord gais doing it. Thank you.
