I have had an outstanding complaint unresloved since November 2024

I have had an outstanding complaint since November 2024. In the 1 year 1 was issued with two very large bills over 1k each time (I live in a 1 bed apartment and work in the office for reference) so this just did not make sense to me. The issue is still on going, that bill was suppose to be frozen until the issue was resolved but as of last week I am now down 1k as the amount was taken from my bank. I have found it very difficult or at all possible to get updates on this situation from the complaint team. the Customer service operators have tired their best to help but as there is no direct contact to the complaint team this issue is just causing unnecessary stress and anxiety.

I am really happy with the level of customer service Bord Gais provides. Also, the Electricity and Gas rates are good!

Thieves! - and they won't talk to you

Bord Gais are seriously the world champions of frustrations! - they keep putting you on hold without telling you, call conviniently dropped for hte 3rd time, I asked the advisor to explain the rediculously shocking bill price.. since I have been travelling, and haven't used any heating for months, and barely been home long enough to keep the light on for more than an hour or so a day, for weeks.. still getting charged 65 euros for gas and 65 euros for electricity for the second month in a row.. inspite of having been out of the country for more than half of both months.. and not having used any heating etc.. spent over an hour trying to call them, waiting, being on hold.. 3 times I got through to someone, but only long enough to provide my phone number, mail, address, info etc, and ask about the bill, before the call conviniently drop out.. I'm currently calling for the 7th time.. trying to get through, to an advisor that can explain the insane bills to me...
