Blue Ridge Mountain Rentals

We had a great experience with Blue Ridge Mountain Rentals. They were very responsive when we had a few minor issues arise. Enjoyed our stay, the house was clean, comfortable, and well maintained.

Great house and great service.

Stayed at the Great Bear Lodge in Vilas. Overall, the cabin was nice with some good amenities. However, there were some issues starting with cleanliness. Trash was left outside when we first arrived. The inside had some cobwebs, dust, dead bugs, even clothing left behind by a previous guest. Internet stopped working after the first two days and BRMR never fixed it. Gas grill on the back porch didn’t work. Still had a fun time despite the negatives, but I’m not sure I’d spend the large amount of money that I did on a BRMR cabin in the future.

Our stay in S’more to Love was wonderful! Absolutely beautiful views of Grandfather mountain. It was clean and well supplied. We appreciated the communication from Blue Ridge Mountain Rentals , the cleaners and the owners prior to arrival. I loved the details and information of nearby activities and businesses. Would love to stay again!

Property was as advertised and then some. Clean and comfortable is an understatement. Communication with BRRentals was effective and efficient and will definitely seek them out for future visits to the high country.

The home was absolutely stunning! We thoroughly enjoyed every minute of our stay. I would recommend this home and hope to stay at it again in the future.

I'd like to begin with the positives of the home. We spent our 1st christmas as a family in this beautiful place. Upon arriving, we were all excited with the views and comforts of the house. Well decorated for feeling of christmas spirit. It really is a place of peace. My complaints only come from a place of unfortunate events. Our hot tub seemed to have an electrical problem, so we were unable to use it for the entirety of our stay. Which was 4 nights. After reaching out to see if anyone could look at it, I had to call 3 more times to finally get a response to someone coming. 42 hours into our stay. Informing us it was electrical and couldn't be fixed. The master bedrooms bed had a foam piece layed on top of it. When my husband and I would lay on it, the bed folded us into the center. Seemed maybe the bed had broken underneath from a previous stay. The topper would try and fold us both up in it as though we were burritos. It left us unable to utilize the bed and sleep on the couch. The home is allowing animals, but the cleanliness of the hair, we found while laying on the rug, was proof of a faulty vacuum. They informed us they will switch out to help other stays in the future. There are mouse droppings under the stove area and large pan area, I assume from an opening under the stove. As I stated, these are just happenings we encountered. This isn't anything to take away from the homes magnificent overall feeling. We were able to build memories in spite of our events. Spoke with Amy about my concerns.She was phenomenal in kindness and help.

Communication was clear and prompt. Check in easy. Unit was just as described.

A perfect place to keep the grandbaby for a weekend.

Wow! This place is amazing. As soon as we walked in, our eyes went straight to the stunning mountain view in the distance. Later on, as the sun set, we just sat there mezmerized for 45 minutes by the beautiful pink, red and orange streaks across the sky. The decor and furnishings are top notch too. You can tell the owners put a lot into making this a great guest experience. I can’t believe this beautiful home is for sale ! To the future owner, I promise to come back if you let me!

Amenities and day to day consumable were provided for the start up of our 9 day stay. The unit is equipped with everything that you need to cook just about any meal you can think of. Bedding was really nice in all rooms. Beautiful view of golf course and hot tub is a nice touch. Will stay here if traveling this way again

Very good rental system with updates before during and after the stay.

Loved our stay at White Oak. We go to the mountains every year at this time to get our Christmas tree. White Oak was very cozy and perfect for the 4 of us. Well equipped and clean!! Loved the live wreath on the door upon arrival and the Christmas tree with lights inside the great room by the gas logs. Will definitely stay again.

We would like to express our deep gratitude for the wonderful stay in this house. Our children had an incredible experience, immersed in the forest and listening to the sounds of nature. One of my daughters even commented: "Mom, it seems like the trees want to be silent", which really shows how important nature is to these teenagers. Making marshmallows with the children was unforgettable fun! The house was impeccably clean and well equipped, with everything we needed in the kitchen. This house was absolutely BEAUTIFUL. It was plenty of room and comfort for our family of 15 and had room for more. The amenities in the house were perfect, although I do wish they had more games for kids, such as air hockey, foosball etc.. The view of the mountain range was stunning and a sight to wake up to. The only thing I didn't like was the drive up to the house. The mountain is pretty steep and GPS will NOT take you to your destination. Follow the directions sent in the email. If possible, arrive in the daytime. It was a pretty scary drive at night time.

Wonderful house! Great kitchen. Plenty of room for a big crowd. Everyone loved the hot tub.

Loved the house!!! Had trouble with the master bath shower. Called twice but was not fixed. Would have given five stars if the shower had been fixed.

We stayed a cabin in December 2024 named, Happy Trees Cabin. The cabin was absolutely beautiful. We loved everything about it. I have never stayed in a cabin so clean. Blue Ridge Mountain Rentals do an amazing job with their cabins. We will definitely be using this company for our future rentals!
