Thank you once again to BRMR! You made our vacation from the coast amazing as always!! The 9 inches of snow also made our stay wonderful! We had trouble with the code, but a quick call and customer service was able to get us in!! Thank you for the continued hospitality and making our family trips memorable and excellent!!
The cabin was very nice with excellent views. There were 3 issues which I think are related to the property management: 1) a portion of the deck railing was badly damaged and had no caution tape. I think it was a fall hazard for my family; 2) 2 male workers showed up unannounced around 5 PM walking around on the deck and scared my children by being there unexpectedly. We should have been informed they were coming. 3) There were cobwebs in 3 rooms.
They communicate well and their properties have all been well maintained.
The Location was great once you got there. Kind of sketchy driving to the cabin itself. almost felt like I was going to the wrong place. Would have been nice if the window to the bathroom near the hot tub was a door so you could go straight to it.
We had such a wonderful weekend at Southern Buffalo. We were able to enjoy the snow and time together. The cabin is very centrally located to “town” and is probably 8-10 minutes from the general store, pizza place with the little snow hill behind it. Having 3 bathrooms was WONDERFUL. It felt like home and everyone had room to spread out. We saw deer right under the porch 2 days in a row and Beech mountain slopes at night are gorgeous. We loved seeing the lights. Highly recommend this lovely home for rental and we will definitely be back.
Very responsvie and helped with reminders of schedules, payments, and check out procedures. Answered questions quickly and provided timely updates. Whne calling they answred the phones in person with professionalism and service minded.
Blue Ridge Rentals is great to work with, they are my go-to for Boone area rentals! Our most recent stay was at Gratitude, between Boone & Blowing Rock, & it was a great house w/ great easy location! House was very nice & comfy for all, we would definitely stay here again!
We stayed at this cabin last year also and plan to stay again next year. It fits our family perfectly and has everything we need. The location is perfect with easy access to Boone and choose and cut Christmas trees.
The cabin was exactly as we expected from the pictures and description from BRMR. There was no "trickery" involved. They make booking, check-in, check-out everything as easy and convenient as possible. I highly recommend Blue Ridge Mountain Rentals to anyone looking for a great vacation rental. I have rented through them several times and have never been disappointed.
Blue Ridge was so helpful every step of the way. They were clear in their communication, quick to respond when I had a question and made every step of our journey seem less. Will definitely rent through them again.
Rental process and Blue Ridge Mountain Rentals is great. We have used multiple times for Eagles Nest. This particular rental (Running Waters Lodge) we a little lesser in terms of overall quality and value, though. Overall, it was great and as advertised, but certain aspects were not great - game room equipment very worn, kitchen had a hodge-podge of cookware and utensils, hot tub temperature gauge did not work - could make the temp go down but not up so it was maxed at 95 degrees, and other minor things. We will definitely rent from BRMR again and stay in Eagles Nest for sure - but we will avoid this unit equally for sure.
The house was very clean despite allowing pets. Our visit was over Thanksgiving but the staff was still very prompt in answering any questions I had. Highly recommend the company and the property.
Black Bear Lodge is a comfortable and beautiful home. The views of the mountains are amazing. The neighboring cities that we visited are wonderful and fun with unlimited restaurant and shopping choices. Last, the people at Blue Ridge Mountain Rentals are very professional, responsive and helpful. We would definitely use them for a vacation again.

This was our 2nd time staying at Bear Bungalow. It meets our needs perfectly. It’s cozy and secluded, yet only 5 min from town. I wish I could live there. Our only complaint was the fireplace was inoperable which was a bummer cause it quite chilly and we had some snow. A fire would’ve made it so much more comfy. We will be back.

The house is spectacular, very beautiful, we were very well received, the whole environment was clean, the bed linen and towels were impeccable, the kitchen had all the accessories we needed, the staff was very helpful, whenever we needed them they answered us. The house is just a few minutes from the ski resort and a few minutes from the city!
