I am having great difficulty trying to cancel auto-renewal of a Premium VPN subscription with Bitdefender.
Bitdefender want to renew at 100% rate when online they are advertising a 50% discount!!!
Their "Contact Us" link constantly times out.
What to do?
Had them for 5 years. The best protection, I have never had any PC issue and im online all the time. BUTTT last year, a staff use my debit card to purchase $400 of sport betting. Thank GOD my bank USAA blocked them for suspicious activity
I wont be using them anymore since they are now $80 a year and the staff are thieves and NORTON 360 has a promotion for 15usd a year... yeah no brainer
Like the product but hate the rather opaque autorenewal process. It is not made at all clear that this is what you are signing up to. Yes, it is possible to subsequently cancel this and delete payment card details but these processes are not quick and easy. Rather they seem to be designed to get you to give up and stay tied to expensive autorenewal.
Slow as hell first scan,at almost 10 minutes plus,i couldn't create the mandatory free account to activate it because it froze and didn't accept any input,i then had to turn off the pc,i had to go into safe mode to uninstall it as it created some kind of hard reboot error.
Very poor free version,just plain cynical to offer a dud free version when i assume the paid version just works.
Ein unsäglicher Hürdenlauf beim Versuch, das Abo zu beenden. Nach einer Stunde meiner Lebenszeit mit Herumsuchen in Bitdefender Central, Zurücksetzen des Passworts, Internet-Recherchen, Anschreiben der Hotline usw. muss ich mir jetzt mal hier meinen Ärger von der Seele schreiben.
