I was not very satisfied with the service of the company the first time I came. The staff did not give me a feedback, and then the sewer was blocked again not long after. I was very satisfied with the service of the second time, but I have not received any feedback from the company. Maybe the tree roots outside were too big to be completely cleaned, so it caused blockage again. I hope the water resources insurance company will contact me. Thank you for giving me this opportunity to give you feedback.

The company who responded was His&hers the entire experience with them was remarkably fantastic. They came prepared and preformed impeccable. How ever I did learn from the process that AMW does not cover as much as they profess and that is disappointing.

The water heater policy apparently doesn't cover pipes going into or out of it. Those pipes from our meter to the heater weren't covered either with the main policy. So...not much of a benefit. Read the contract carefully before paying.

The repairman was very efficient and polite. Also quick worker.

The attention to the issue and the quick response from your representative and also Hartman plummets. James was so professional and job well done.

Timely and v

This company is a MONEY TRAP! It takes, and takes, and only deliver broken promises. On October 29, 2024 I paid in full $1,227.43 for the Whole Home Protection Plan. I coordinated efforts to have my water heater replaced. FYI Plumbing is AWR go to for plumbing issues. They were not able to come out for another 4 days and due to the emergency (my garage flooding) I called another company A&A Plumbing and I paid out of pocket. When the smoke cleared I called AWR to request paperwork for my $1,000 reimbursement (limit they pay for this service). I was told I didn't follow protocol therefore NO reimbursement would be honored. WTH am I paying you for? AWR want their customers to know their rules of engagement to receive service. Impossible! I am the consumer and do not have your policy and procedures at my fingertips especially when I'm having an emergency situation. I then requested service for my leaking bathroom sinks, kitchen sink, and exterior water spigot and non functioning refrigerator line. The rep. said they could repair the 2 bathroom sinks, and kitchen sink but could NOT repair refrigerator line nor outdoor water spigot (not covered). By the way they did attempt to rectify the matter by giving me 50% off the $1,227.43 I paid 1 year in advance. The $1,227.43 refund was short $114.34 of what I paid. I'm still waiting for a legitimate reason for not receiving my full refund as promised. I will go to the BBB if needed. AWR it's not nice to play with consumers money. You're FIRED!!!

Day 11 no Plumber has even called me. I have spoke to nobody in America, 20+ calls. The People you speak to are not trained to care if your toilet ever flushes. I am filling a complaint with the California State Insurance Fraud Department. This Company Is A Fraud. A Scam. You Will Not Be Serviced At All.

AWR does not provide a sewer protection plan but rather a sewer cleanout plan and the 24 hour claim means they answer calls for 24 hours but service is only provided from8;00am to 5;00pm. It took them over 24 hours to respond to my issue and they denied my claim to resolve the rust build up that caused the blockage telling me I should read the fine print. What a sham! It tells a lot when the response to my review is the same given to any negative review they receive. The same deflective response i received when I complained directly to the office of the president of AWR. They just don’t care!

If I could give zero stars I would. DO NOT get sewer, plumbing or waterline insurance from this company. My husband and I signed up for their Water Line, Sewer Line and In-Home Plumbing Emergency Program in May 2024. We repeatedly asked them to email our policy with all the terms and conditions. They never sent it. Since May we have been unable to login to their website. Each time we ask about it they say they are having technical issues and their IT department is working to fix it. You can sign up no problem but you can't login to your account for 6 months. Now we have a plumbing issue with our heater. You can't contact them by phone because the recorded message says the hold time is 20 hours. We used chat to speak with an agent to file a claim. We sent pictures of the issue and they determined it was covered. They said they would dispatch a plumber and that our fee (or deductible) would be $50. We were told that IF the plumber determined that the issue was not covered, we would be refunded the $50. The plumber came out and told us our leak is not covered and further shocked us by saying this company repeatedly charges their customers $50 service fees fully knowing that that issue is not covered. They just scam you for $50 and don't fix the problem. Since we never received our policy we were not aware that they even charge to send a technician. When we reached out for a refund we were told that the claims agent who filed our claim gave us false information and that the $50 is non-refundable. They wanted to send a different plumber for a second opinion and charge us another $50. What a scam! We immediately canceled our policy and hope they don't charge our credit card next month for the monthly premium. If they do we'll have to dispute it. Getting a policy from American Water Resources was a costly mistake.

Did NOT sign up for autorenewal. Was autobilled anyway. It took me over 2 hours to cancel. The initial call said hold time was 30 minutes so I approved a call back that promised to hold my place in line. I got the call back an hour later. THEN I proceeded to wait another 45 minutes on hold before hanging up. A chat was no better. They just want to SELL SELL SELL, and they are following a script (Which my service person PASTED into the chat - including directions on how to sell me!). The chat took 35 minutes. After waiting, for 30 they asked if I still wanted to cancel. Really??? Still waiting for the refund.

Very pathetic service. I have the water, sewer and in-home plumbing coverage for the last one year with AWR. Recently had an issue with the water backing up so raised a claim 3851095. Personnel from ULTIMATE DRAIN CLEANING AND SERVICE LLC showed up and were not able to fix the issue on day 1. After couple of days another guy showed up and did a clean-up to give a temporary relief and promised to do a follow-up cleanup using a machine that would cut the root growth in the pipe(causing the water backup). But to my shock the claim was closed. When I called AWR to follow-up they said I will have to raise another claim. So the main issue is still there and AWR is not ready to fix in spite of having a complete coverage.
