American Water Resources is a MONEY Trap!!!
This company is a MONEY TRAP! It takes, and takes, and only deliver broken promises. On October 29, 2024 I paid in full $1,227.43 for the Whole Home Protection Plan. I coordinated efforts to have my water heater replaced. FYI Plumbing is AWR go to for plumbing issues. They were not able to come out for another 4 days and due to the emergency (my garage flooding) I called another company A&A Plumbing and I paid out of pocket. When the smoke cleared I called AWR to request paperwork for my $1,000 reimbursement (limit they pay for this service). I was told I didn't follow protocol therefore NO reimbursement would be honored. WTH am I paying you for? AWR want their customers to know their rules of engagement to receive service. Impossible! I am the consumer and do not have your policy and procedures at my fingertips especially when I'm having an emergency situation. I then requested service for my leaking bathroom sinks, kitchen sink, and exterior water spigot and non functioning refrigerator line. The rep. said they could repair the 2 bathroom sinks, and kitchen sink but could NOT repair refrigerator line nor outdoor water spigot (not covered). By the way they did attempt to rectify the matter by giving me 50% off the $1,227.43 I paid 1 year in advance. The $1,227.43 refund was short $114.34 of what I paid. I'm still waiting for a legitimate reason for not receiving my full refund as promised. I will go to the BBB if needed. AWR it's not nice to play with consumers money. You're FIRED!!!
