Audley travel made my dream come true

Audley travel made my dream come true, Lulu was so amazing sorting everything out for us , all went smoothly, We went on Safari in Tanzania, then onto Zanzibar to relax.I was blown away from everything, the Selous Kulinda Camp was outstanding all the staff, the park days on safari, it was just outstanding, had a special birthday dinner organised by Jamie and Jerry, Hamisi our waiter was a lovely man really looking after us, and Hans our guide was just amazing, Stayed at Breezes Beach Club in Zanzibar, what a beautiful place, all the staff were really friendly, the food was good, the location is just stunning, heaven.

Absolutely outstanding!

Absolutely outstanding from start to finish! Audley Travel are superb. We took a "once in a lifetime" trip to Borneo, Malaysia and Bali and they worked out every minute detail. They are manage to rearrange the entire schedule when our plans changed. One of our party had a medical issue on arrival that Audley were quick to act by arranging a hospital visit whilst the kids were escorted to the hotel - all anxiety was removed! I would not hesitate to recommend - it was a trip of a lieftime!

Great to deal with

This was the trip of a lifetime!

This was the trip of a lifetime! My mum and I decided to go to Greece together-- we are both Classicists and wanted to see some of the best ancient sites. We've never travelled just the two of us and it was partially a celebration of my 30th, so we were wanted to go all out! We went with Audley because of the hassle-free itinerary and amazing reviews. It was truly excellent. Because we were doing a sort of ancient tour, the potential pit-falls of our trip would be travel within Greece. I really didn't fancy driving us around and having the stress of car rental etc. Audley completely resolved that issue with amazing drivers who were amazingly punctual. We had private tours for every site; every guide was so knowledgeable and helpful. We learned so much! Our guides were enthusiastic and patient when we needed to take rests. I wondered if having a guide might be awkward, as I've never done tours like that before, but it was anything but. Everyone was fab. The hotels were outstanding, particularly Ippoliti in Nafplio. They genuinely attended our every need, most of the time without us even needing to ask. Huge shout out to Lyta, our wonderful Audley correspondent, who made everything so straight forward. It made the most amazing trip ever and much of it was thanks to her. Overall, I got the impression that everyone was just super keen to help us make the most of the trip and make sure we were happy/comfortable. It felt like proper luxury! Thank you, Audley, for the trip of a lifetime!

Barcelona - Spring 2024

We had a fantastic family vacation in Barcelona thanks to the attention and care we received from Eric Carnes. Eric was genuinely interested in our family dynamic and was able to assist us with creating unique opportunities for our time together while experiencing Barcelona. We asked for many unique amenities from customized architectural tours to securing sporting event tickets. He was even able to accommodate our big ask of being in the middle of city in a multi-bedroom apartment with all of the perks of staying in a high end hotel. We highly recommend Audrey Travel and Eric Carnes.

A supper service - again

We used Audley for a rearranged 20th wedding anniversary trip. Arrangements were made last year for travel this year (2024). It's not the first time we have used Adley to arrange a significant trip and once again they were incredibly helpful, attentive to our needs, and invaluable in helping us when we had to rearrange our travel dates. Our agent, Sophie, was brilliant at keeping us informed and managing all of our needs. We will certainly keep using them for when we are planning our next special holiday, as we trust their judgement and advice and know they will deliver the service they promise, as well as the little extras like the information pack that arrives a coupe of weeks before you travel. Sophie's expertise, patience, and consideration, made it a very lovely hassle-free holiday.

Singapore, Malaysia and Bali trip

We have just returned from the holiday of a lifetime planned to perfection by Mat Hall, one of their SE Asia experts, recommended to us by our son who had used Audley a few years ago for a trip to Thailand and Phuket. Mat helped us choose the best hotel accommodation for our preferences, secured specific requests for us ( we wanted to stay in the Noel Coward suite at Raffles for example) and offered some excellent suggestions for tours and how to organise a complex trip which began with 4 nights in 2 locations in Singapore followed by a 3 night train journey through the Malaysian jungle on the Eastern and Oriental Express then a flight to Bali for a week. Added to which my husband unfortunately fell ill with appendicitis when we were in Bali and Audley’s support was incredible, both from the Uk and from their partner team at Destination Asia in Bali. They arranged for me to be transferred to a hotel close to the hospital and set up an invaluable WhatsApp group where I could seek support 24/7, and arranged our new flights home as my husband couldn’t fly for a week after surgery. You just don’t imagine things going wrong on holiday but if they do, to have an agent like Audley to turn to was invaluable. We will definitely be going back to them for future holidays and hopefully the next one won’t be as eventful in the wrong way! Despite this we are left with wonderful memories of a trip that could not have been better planned - thank you Mat and all the Audley team!

Classic Costa Rica

We had a great time in Costa Rica based on the Classic Costa Rica tour - communication at home was excellent and usually by phone which made things very personal. My only complaints are that we changed flights in Miami for which we needed an ESTA, which was mentioned in our written itinerary but not mentioned in communications, so we had a last minute panic getting this sorted. Also, our detailed itinerary was given to us by the ground agent in the taxi from the airport to our hotel when we arrived after a 22 hour door-to-door journey, which wasn’t ideal! This could have been done before we left the UK. Also, because we made a few changes/additions to the standard tour, some trips were not necessary. This could also have been addressed beforehand and given us a little more free time. Other than this the organisation, hotels and service were excellent.

Vietnam newlywed gift upgrade 2024

I had the most incredible experience booking a special wedding gift for my sister and new brother in-law’s honeymoon through Christian at Audley Travel. From the moment I reached out to inquire about adding a special touch to their already booked trip, Christian went above and beyond to make it unforgettable and a secret. His expertise in Vietnam shone through as he suggested thoughtful upgrades and upon my choosing, he seamlessly coordinated my personalised note with the chosen hotel to ensure everything was perfect - the hotel even hand wrote the card. Christian's enthusiasm and assistance made the entire process a joy. Seeing the happiness on my sister and her husband faces on FaceTime once they received the surprise was priceless. I cannot recommend Christian and Audley Travel highly enough for anyone looking to plan a memorable trip to Vietnam or beyond. Thank you, Christian, for making their trip so special!

Audley Great in Exotic Locations

We just got back from a trip to India and Bhutan. This is our 2nd trip with Audley and we would definitely use them again. They have excellent partners (both Audley and local partners) and we felt well taken care of. The trip was well organized and Jason did a great job in keeping us in the loop. My only feedback would be it would be great to see a more itemized bill - you just get one lump sum. But in locations that are difficult or out of the ordinary (like Bhutan) I would definitely go with Audley.
